    Crazy hey....I don't really think South Africa has much of a future left anymore... Can't even get on the website to see when the power is going off! As my dad used to say... As useful as a tit on a chicken.....

    R1100 inspection fee....and yet my doctor who studied for 5 or 6 years charges R450 for a consultation...

    agreed....my car isn't worth much but it is insured....just so I don't have to personally deal with accident consequences...

    insurance is all very well and necessary but you can never be 100% certain that your claim will be paid until you make a claim...that's my take on it...

    No way...I use eggs plants with tomatoes...onions...peppers...some smoked Paprika....chillis and baby marrows...the egg plants do need to be nice and young without the tough skin...cook it all up...add some decent veg stock...let it reduce and thicken and there you go! Makes a great sauce for pasta....'tatoes...rice etc and freezes well...perfect for the single cyclist's hectic lifestyle....!

    A challenge is one thing....an unyielding brick wall is something else... I do agree on the not sure where this thread is going comment though... I guess those that can make a change will and those that can't wont....! Same with most things in life really....!

    Agreed, but if you go back and read the majority of your posts in this thread then its pretty evident that you have no desire to make any change right? So whats the point of being here other than some trolling really? Time is precious....don't waste it on something you have no interest in....

    I'm not sure if i am reading this right... Are you saying an animal killed in a Halaal fashion (blessed(!), no bolt to the head, throat slit) is a better quality animal than those that have a bolt to their head and then their throats slit? Ok, after a bit of googling I think you mean that with Halaal all the blood is drained out thus removing toxins?

    Easiest remedy here then is for those who are anti and not really bothered, stop reading the thread then and move along...no-one has a gun to your head forcing you to log in and read this...right? Those who have changed or feel that they could do something to make a difference somehow should carry on reading the thread... Simple....??!!

    I've been vegetarian for 6 or 7 odd years....haven't eaten eggs in years since getting an embryo in my fried egg... and I only eat cheese when I buy a pizza..may e once a month these days...not many alternatives in my small town. Milk I seldom drink other than hot chocolate in winter. I feel pretty good. Give it a go...nothing to lose...

    while it's certainly no excuse for poor service you cant really expect a bike shop to drop what they are doing and suddenly service your bike if they are busy. Business is hard to come by but equally you have to look after the business you already have...I work at a small tool and die place and we often have someone dropping by to get a bolt sparked out of something or a bit of turning or milling etc...if we can help we certainly do but if we are busy then you have to wait...
