I play a lot of CS GO. Look out for me : Tappets2020 It plays quite well for my crap connection....LOL is not too bad but sometimes the lag is awful! Ping on CS is around 25-30....still pathetic but playable!

I bought one of those vapes last year...they are great little things...great smelling smoke...acceptable in a lot of social situations....can even nip into a shopping centre loo for a quick puff! My boss used one in the factory so I took a chance and did the same.... BUT because it was so nice I found myself smoking more and more on the vape AND still on the ciggies... This is the ONLY time EVER I will thank the ANC for something....banning smokes and helping me quit 2 months ago!

Agreed, its terrible what we do to animals. I don't know how people live with themselves doing this. If those animals have to be killed then surely there is a more humane way...but I suppose its all about the bottom line and choking hundreds of animals to death overnight is the cheapest option....

Ja, i had it in my bag....looks like old bicycle brake/gear cable....good thing those branches were bent like that or I would not have seen that! I just keep a cheap pair of wire cutters in the bag.

I opted for a late start today. Left home at 10am (gasp, horror) and for the first time in a month had a warm and pleasant ride! I like the odd early morning winter ride but its not habit forming for me! If you start heading out onto the trails please take some pliers with you, I found two snares out on my ride today....

Pic doesn't do it justice but it was pretty white and crispy out there this morning in Magalies... From this weekend I am back on afternnoon rides...I will take my chances around here...way too cold for it to be fun at 7am!

Its all very well paying less for some insurance... Proof comes when its claim time.

A big thank you to Cadence World in Krugersdump. I somehow managed to break a spoke on Saturday and this morning I took the bike in and they sorted it out without me having to book it in and pick it up again the following day (I live 25km so its not a quick in and out). I got there a little early and the lady in the shop let me sit inside and wait AND for the first time ever I actually got a cup of coffee! I've bought things from the other 2 shops in the area but have never been offered coffee.... So. if you are in the West Rand, the shop is just across the road from the Dross...support them. Prices are good and the service is good. Also picked up a set of brake pads for my SLX at R130 a set. Nice price. As a footnote I see the old Cajees down in town itself is now undergoing a facelift. New more up to date stock going in etc... Sadly the one old gentleman passed away and the second one who used to run the shop apparently had a stroke....very sad as although it wasn't the best shop in the world I have been going there for 20 odd years..

Enjoy the next few days of riding...cold front coming Tuesday.....that'll make the early morning starts so much nicer....
