  1. go for the xt's, the lever feel is just so much better, i do think the avids have a stronger bite but the lever has a wierd feel to it thats just my opinion
  2. oh ok that is a lucky one then, dont do the meths thing at all bud
  3. my test is i put the chain on the floor standing up and then slowely bend it, if it almost makes 3/4 of a circle then its finished, but the measuring the lengh with the ruler is way more accurate but im sometimes too lazy to get a ruler
  4. Universal System Tubeless, a tubeless bicycle tire system developed by mavic
  5. i agree
  6. marzochi is a strong brand, manitou R7 and rock shox eg reba/sid is a light xc fork any fox fork performs like magic but heavy on maintenance, dt swiss forks i have not dealt with or heard anything, what kind of riding do you do,
  7. i have never had any experience with a mazocchi but i believe that guys who ride them, love them.
  8. not to sure on that one but i would think the fox is more expensive
  9. check derailer for play, check pulley wheels, check your cables, next would be to find someone with 8 spd shifters, its hard for me to decide on what could be wrong since i can't feel or see whats happening,
  10. yip, maintenance, my dads fox shocks have seen about 3 times more services than my reba in about 2 years,
  11. check the sprocket for a bent tooth,
  12. campy super record upgrade hmm sounds like maybe ajusting, i had that with Dura-Ace and slowely tuned it out,
  13. ok i checked it out and this is what i got Each fork will come with standard logo decals under the clear coat but in each box there will be four additional color panels that can be mixed and matched to your wishes. Additionally all 24, attention grabbing color graphics will be available aftermarket in packs of four so you can change monthly for two years. The additional panels are cut ever so slightly larger so they adequately cover the stock graphics
  14. is it that you have the option of replacing the reba with a reba then just replace the reba with a reba, but just keep your reba until you brake it and then buy a new reba, foxes like to leak oil alot an not just a few hours ago me and another 2 guys where comenting about leaking oil and blowing seals on the fox, if you a soft rider on the bike then a fox will be fine but a reba or any rock shox is pretty much bullet proof, dont get me wrong i love the feel of a fox but to me its just too much maintenance, maybe i have just been unlucky
  15. check on crc if you can get just the XT brake levers and no callipers, i think they are in the brake spares section, else just look at the juicy 5 or 7, dont worry about the rotors but a new set of brakes should come with new rotors, all you need to change shifting wise is shifters plus rear derailer, the xt front derailer is perfect,
  16. what decals did you get with it mate, did you get the sid wc 2009(waiting for mine to come still), make sure there is no cear coat ontop of the decals aswell,
  17. is the cup loose on the frame itself or is the actual fork and bar only moving within the cup
  18. yoh thats rough
  19. i dont want to be skew on the bike with one nad. will cut the post aswell
  20. well i got the training going great so now its all just about the bike,
  21. R2200
  22. im 100% in for the fork course, will get dad to give you a call sometime.
  23. i was wonering if i can get hold of just the clamp part of a kcnc seat post as seen here just not the pole part(i only want the rest) https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=67156&KW=blue i believe it will work on the ec70.Little-Ben2009-11-18 12:43:52
