Agree with willehond i dont intend to race people but if i see someone ahead of me i use them by making a goal and saying in two minutes i want to pass them, just tonight i went for a TT ride and saw riders on the rand water road, worked out they were four minutes ahead and decided by the train track i want to pass them and i did but i only do it to build up the pace and it kinda helps mentaly but i dont pass and make it look like i want to race, i greet and tell them to enjoy there ride and occasionaly joke here and there but i never intend to race unless i am with Bigben and BigBrotherBen Little-Ben2009-04-28 14:01:33

i dont miss it at all nor does my poor collarbone which was left broken after a bail in the sugarbowl, ok ok the rest was a great ride but it was too far for me to get to ride there enough

i have only used spray and cook and found it works just for a few kms then its off already

i got xtr calipers on xt dc leavers, feel is amazing but it is pricy

I really enjoy being around such a great cyclist and ever since i have been riding with him he has always been a good guy, i went on the motor bike to fetch the gel off the coarse because i was going that way, i think BB missed that part but it just takes some like that to be said to prove how great he really is, if there is one person who is a great ambassador in the scene of cycling i would say it would be Bryce, Tim is also a great kid and is following in his brothers footsteps and its always a pleasure to be in his company, big ups to these guys parents aswell for all the great support they get

JB removed my lockout from my reba and replaced it with just an air cap, saved me around 200g if i remember correctly, not a fan of lockout anyway,

Option1: New Silverback Mecury 1 with XTR groupset for R25000, can't remeber this one but if it is the carbon then its a great bike especially with xtr groupo, finding a carbon bike at that price with xtr is not an easy task, will look it up, also silverback is a great brand and reliable, and it has a solid ride feel to it Option 2: 2008 GT Marathon 1 Frame with new SLX groupset (and parts from Marathon Carbon Expert 2009) for R14000, for that price its not to bad but you wont have the xtr but a nice frame, i rode the carbon marathon at sabie ex last year and absolutely loved it, if i could though i would take the silverback if i was going to race hard or the gt if i was just going to ride for fun,

Am on the rd south of Jhb and see a lot of mtbers and very often they'll ride two feet parallel to the road on dirt. Why make life hard for yourselves b4 you plunge off into the bush proper - if there's a road there what's the problem in using it the answer is obvious, im on my mountainbike, not my road bike, if i wanted to ride on the road then i will ride my road bike, thats it, mtb=OFFroad, roadbike= boredom,misserable, AND ONROAD

So i know what im doing this weekend, me and my photographer friend with a lense than can see the the first layer of paint on a wall with ten layers in the next province will setouton a drive this weeend and ta a photo of every taxi(how many arn't in the wrong ok maybe 2 or 3 but still) and send them in, this way i wont be doing anything illigal like driving with my phone in my hand or causing an accident while taking a photo. that me sorted for this weekend
