  5. what type of bike? XC, Trail, All mountain.....?
  6. +100%, it always amazes me how the consumer is always held responsible for this c$%p! I also wonder, from some of the comments in this thread, how many guys on this forum prescribe to the same mentality of giving their customers shoddy service and making excuses!
  7. lekka ride, good climbs and fairly technical single track. you can also pop over to hillcrest or meerendal for some extra fun.
  8. Take the bike back and get your money. Spend it somewhere else, **** service should not be tolerated. One more point, if a bike (or anything else for that matter) is advertised with a certain spec why is it the consumers job to ensure that it is all 100% correct. Some consumers might not be up to speed with all the technicalities, but trust the business to provide the correct product/service! (clearly this is asking to much) This is mis-advertising and by the sounds of it a bike that has been down spec’d for another customer, and they tried to make a quick buck.
  9. It's good to be the boss!
  10. Yup, back then it was made of stone and wood?
  11. sounds like you downgraded?
  12. Forgot about that! Word of the day: I am having an interminable day!
  13. No. I don’t agree with that! I only have limited periods when I can ride Tokai and I want to ride the singletrack both ways. We rode Tokai on Sunday and it was packed, had no issues riding up the single. It's about being polite, friendly and accommodating. We got off a few times going up when guys were coming down, and we carried on riding up when guys stopped for us. No issue! The only problem, is with the more arrogant types, that don’t acknowledge or greet when you stop for them, but that’s a personality flaw and will get a snide comment from me
  14. Thanks will give him a shout. I think your confused, i live in paradise!
  15. Hey e, where did you get that? Went looking today but nothing at Game, checkers hyper, or toys r us.
  16. He spent 2 weeks on a little black 3 wheel scooter to get his confidence and moved quickly onto the Y-bike. He loves the Y-bike. Ill get him the JD bug as well though, as it requires better balance.

  18. He has a y-bike, but i think this would be better for him and at R195 you can’t go wrong. He is two in August so might have to make some adjustments, as he is not the tallest fellow around.
  19. I don’t think so, need to get the training wheels off my bike, reckon this is a good next step!

  21. Nice meeting you in Tokai on Sunday Hannes. Interesting review.

  23. I have found that when I post an ad, I don’t get email response on the ad, but when i go into the ad, there have been responses. This has happened a number of times and could be why occasionally sellers do not answer.
  24. Dispatch a platoon on the mountain! "What's the matter boy? He ain't gonna bite you. That's a good gook, good and dead.~ " Staff Sergeant Bob Barnes - Platoon!
