  1. Try get a mate that understands components to go look at bikes with you. Look for a decent frame, shock (RP23) and fork, you can upgrade other parts as time goes on. Shocks, forks and components need to be serviced on a fairly regular basis, so check when the seller has last had a service. One more thing - If it's to good to be true, it usually is!
  2. Why don’t they just create an e-copy/version? Download it to your ipad, laptop ect for a reduced price? So much easier. Also been going every week to the local CNA to buy one, still nothing and I am not subscribing!

  10. RP23 std would have been okay! The frame came with a relic, a tired Fox Float. If you have kids and a wife and a dog, i understand! If not, puza Therrrsday!
  11. Had a good parts day yesterday. Received my new Fox RP23 shock and well as hearing I will be receiving my 2010 Revelation 120-150 Uturn fork in 3 weeks!

  15. I liked this comment: Before we talk about a "perception" of a Banana republic lets define what a Banana Republic comprises of: 1) A Government unable to Govern to the wishes of the people but who rather elects to rule? 2) The use of subversive means to gain the support of the electorate i.e. playing on their fears and belief systems making them believe that non-compliance would have catastrophic consequences? 3) No seperation of state and party? 4) Deployment of party faithfull to keypoint positions even though they are inexperienced or even incapable of managing those positions? 5) The rise of an elite class within the governing party who will not hesitate to use whatever means at their disposal to enrich themselves to the detriment of the populace? 6) The installment of a populistic puppet to acheive point no 5? 7) The subversion of law and order whenever and wherever the eletist clique feels like it? 8) The subversion of true democratic principles? 9) The legislation of social engineering? 10) The legislation of information? 11) The legislation of freedom of speech? 12) The tolerance for blatantly militant hate speech? 13) Uncurbed and undue influence of the economic freedom of all by an organistaion that is more concerned with politics and point no 5 than what their charter is? 14) Persecution of morally upstanding and anti-corrupt public officials? 15) The systematic and methodical erosion of civil society? Oh dear, seems we are a Banana Republic after all

  17. I wonder who’s getting a naughty letter?
  18. What about her ring?
  19. Is that the same as a camel toe?
  20. Good to hear the guy is OK. The road up to the tar section is tough enough on a bike, traction wise, in a medic vehicle would considerably more difficult.
  21. She is the cigarette!
  22. Let me help you fella's out, this is the business! Olivia Wilde - smoking! Okay a few more!
  23. Whats up with that nose?
  24. That's right, thats the reason!
  25. That’s a bit of a turnaround dude. Let me refresh your memory! You said it all. Seen a bunch of accidents in that area around the hairpin there. It's definitely XC types who are likely roadies. Who in their right mind would go all the way to Tokai to ride up a tar road? You'd be better off doing the hill up to the tar road, take a right, go down bridal trail and back up a few times. Maybe the repetition of singletrack would hone some skill in staying on the bike? While accidents are obviously just that, it's a huge waste of our city resources with a heli-vac going at about R16k/h.
