    What would be the best way to repair this small cut in the tire? Superglue?

    Picked up a piece of glass this evening. Small cut, enduroseal managed to seal it without losing noticeable pressure (sorry to the guys behind me who got sprayed a bit). Very happy with tubeless so far👍🏻

    From my experience it depends where the hole/cut is. Had a very small cut from a piece of glas in a brand new ikon tire. Should have sealed easily. But not stans/ryder/enduro seal managed to seal it, as the cut was right at the bottom of one of the knobblies. Plugged it and has been holding for 1000km since. No issues. I have plugged many tires that then lasted for the remainder of the tires lifespan without any issues.

    Any indication of the import duties when buying uswe from chainreaction cycles or Uswe directly? On Uswe international site, they deliver to RSA using FedEx for 100 us dollars in total. Any risks going this route, apart from import taxes?

    On the uswe packs, how hot does the drink get (1.5L version)? Any worse than a normal bottle? Also, how much worse do you sweat with the uswe? Tried a camelback once, but I overheated quite badly with it on my back.

    Jokes (aspens) aside. I have been using ikons front and rear for a few years now and they served me well. Only had one cut that required a plug. For the Attakwas (I have not encountered a more rocky route) I increased pressure to 1.7 bar (I am around 76kg kitted up), no issues with the Ikons. Just remember the sacrifice of grip when increasing the pressure and ride a bit more conservatively.

    Agreed, definitely not maliciously intended. Jan is an absolute machine on and off the bike and I am aware of his crashes etc. I love his in depth race reports and feedback.

    Exactly. The last set op gp5000 tires I bought 2 years ago for R700 per tire. Bought Pirelli pzero TLR tires last month for R900 per tire. Not sure what these gp5000 are made of. anyway, prices are crazy
