  1. He also outwitted them in the Giro and the TdF... Look, I am a huge fan, but jeez, he is on another level. The way he rode the guys in the break off his wheel is just crazy. I think he might be the reason some guys retire a bit early. He raised the level above the "normal" pro level this year.
  2. Pogacar still with a lead of 55s with 33km left to race. He broke away with 100km to go. I do not think the chasing pack has any firepower left to catch him. Crazy.
  3. The team of great Britain looks interesting with Pidcock and both Yates brothers.
  4. 2024 Life Time Chequamegon MTB Festival presented by Trek: Pro/Elite Chequamegon 40 Results (athlinks.com)
  5. Not sure if this is the correct thread, but some more great results for saffas at the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival (one of the lifetime grand prix races). Matt Beers in 5th and well done to Jaedon Terlow finishing in 9th!!
  6. Training with a power meter will level the training field. 200W on MTB during endurance training will still be 200W on the road bike during endurance training. Your speed will just be higher on the road bike. Also, on real mtb terrain you will find that you will go into your tempo/threshold zones quickly due to the terrain. So keep that in mind when training for a specific event. Long road miles at steady wattages will help fitness, but will not train your body for the demands of a technical mtb race/terrain.

Theses symptoms are possibly due to a bent derailleur hanger. Did your lbs check it?

  9. If it can attract some of the lifetime grand prix riders (incl Mr Swenson) to come and battle on Matt Beers’ home turf, it would be epic😁
  10. How do these compare to schwalbe g one RS? Reddit reviews indicates that the RS wears very quickly and is prone to punctures.
  11. According to my in laws I can wear the stripes only after I have entered next years tour de France
  12. As long as the mamils stay away from the white world champ bib shorts... But seriously, well done to Alan! Wear those stipes, you earned them!
  13. I want to try making my own gel using only sugar and caffeine tablets. Please share your recipe? Does the gel not get grainy again?
  14. Swenson dominating again at altitude.
  15. Just some feedback on my Baratza sette ginder. I bought it second hand here in NL. It died on me after 8 months of use, gearbox broken (Known issue). I took a chance and contacted Baratza customer support (owned by Breville). Within one week they sent me a replacement gearbox/motor assembly for free. I did not even have to pay the postage fee. I installed it and it is working better than ever. Great customer support.
  16. I am on my second suito. First one was flawless, but I sold it before moving. I bought another one second hand. I am having power calibration issues with the second one. The suito calculates power and does not measure power with a strain gauge. My trainers calibration is quite off compared to my power meter pedals. So now I am using my pedals as the power source for the trainer which is then transmitted to zwift. Causes a bit of a delay to zwif though.
  17. What happened to Ben O Connor this year? Edit,he never started, apologies
  18. Thanks, will they work on this left (reverse) threaded limit screw?
  19. Apparently this was MvdP lead out numbers of yesterday...
  20. Hi. So I managed to strip the high limit (grub) screw on my 11 speed sram etap front derailleur. 😔 The screw was/is stuck and would not budge at all. Is my only bet to drill it out? It is stuck in such a position where I cannot grip it at all. Second hand replacement derailleurs are selling for 300 euros, which is a lot of money for a stripped grub screw.
  21. How about a custom built set from @nick_the_wheelbuilder
  22. This. It definitely feels like the current B cat races are mostly A cat riders sandbagging. IMO, guys pushing above 6 w/kg for 5 minutes and then just creeping in with race average of 4 w/kg with an average heart rate of 140 bpm, should be racing A cat.
