If the same kit works on both bikes Shimano and Sram I guess it's worth it if you have 2 or 3 bikes to look after (or more if you have a family of cyclists)... You now make me consider it 🤣

How often do you bleed brakes ? Honestly for my road bike and MTB I just have the shimano funnel and some aquarium hose and I gravity bleed them easily, right of admission < a full bleed at your local shop. For the gravel bike (and my other bikes with SRAM before then), I just take it to the shop whenever the brakes feel crap (which is unfortunately more often on the SRAM I've had than on the shimano).

They favourite move being blasting past you to slam on the brakes half way in front of you while taking the nearest left turn

Who's announced that weight for the cabal ? A sub 8kg with force AXS sounds to good to be true, even excluding pedals, but sure, quarq power meter makes a massive difference, especially if it's the spider based one that's on the force, compared to the crank arm that you can get for the rival. Honestly 8.3kg with rival seems very good (considering AXS is heavy except for RED) if it is as is shown in the article (with pedals and cages), a weight weenie can probably save a couple 100 grams with a selle italia and carbon bars.

I did the same mistake a while back, same tyre too, except it burnt so bad the tyre was open, straight to the bin and ride cancelled. Since then I really pay attention at which way I put the bike on the rack (even upgraded racks later on but for other reasons). I wouldn't ride that tyre, rather deal with the pain of buying a new one than with the pain of breaking a bone and not being able to ride for a couple of months

out of curiosity I went on my scale to check, it tells me at 69.9kg for 178 I'm at 21.5% body fat 🤣 I feel if I loose anymore I'll litteraly look like a slum dog (my wife says I already do). EDIT : I checked the report body20 did when I went for rehab after injuring a knee, back then I wasn't seriously into cycling, and the report gave 12.5% fat at 75.2kg, so my scale is drunk. Regarding the topic, I just go my fist Vye items, jacket and jersey in M feel the right size, maybe just a little bit loser than I would've liked, but it probably comes down more to the fit I picked than actual sizing
