  1. Nothing will ever make up for your loss, but it almost seems as if justice has been served. At least you can have closure now.
  2. Yip, Crit is still on, start time moved to 18H00 so you got more time to fight traffic to get there on time. Increased to 1 hour as well.
  3. Gauteng is beautiful, and we have such fantastic weather that we take it for granted. The three nice days of weather the Capies have per year and they are all out with their camera to record it lest they forget what being outdoors is like without being blown over or pissed on with rain.
  4. Can I just do the jumping in the pool bit?
  5. I probably am a bit dof, but the two incidents involving cyclists and Fortuners that were posted on the hub referenced accidents that happened on highways and not on dirt roads. All the 'evidence' proving that the Fortuner is unstable only ever mentions dirt roads. So where is the connection? Who has proved them to be unstable on highways? And for that matter, who has proved them to be unstable on dirt? Driving at high speed on dirt is dangerous in any vehicle. Just because it can does not mean it should! By the way, I own a Nissan so I am posting objectively rather than subjectively as some might suppose
  6. Look on the bright side, that skewer still looks okay!
  7. Super bike, and nice choice of colour as well
  8. I thought I had remembered the BOSS Logistics PIG's number but after Hekpoort all that was in my memory was pain

    Ethics

It is not a lack of ethics from the wheel sucker, it is a lack of brains from the wheel sucked
  10. Come on, post his name! Apparently many riders in the VB bunch, particularly BOSS Logistics, riders feel they have the right to litter as well.
  11. Me thinks you was probably using them batteries in other 'personal' electronic devices as well
  12. I can see uncovered nipples! I'm gonna have to report this thread!
  13. Dual single track sounds a bit paradoxical to me
  14. Jeez Pantani, you picked up a bit of weight hey! At least that jean pant does not make your bum look as fat as the white Assos does
  15. I FLY, if you wanna see someone show pain and suffering just look out for me tonight, I will be setting the standard for it
  16. Nice Pantani, you even make the slow coaches look like they are going fast. Must be your good photographic skills
  17. i've heard the crit racing is a great way to 'learn' how to corner properly and effectively, so i'll encourage my wife to join me at the end of september. thanks for the info guys!! It teaches you great bike handling skills especially when you have to dodge all those slow riders like Pavlov, Flemish Lion, Slo-Jo, Zaskar, IanJ and Thug etc. I think after about the first nine high speed crashes you take at the Dome it soon becomes second nature to elbow these riders out the way while dashing thru at 90 degree bend at 55kph, at the same time sipping on your water bottle, changing gears, adjusting you sun glasses and checking your laptime on your Polar
  18. Thats not a plate, thats a friggin door handle! No wonder you wanted it out.
  19. Bit of a tough spot to be in, if he sits its going to costa him his balls and if he slips it is going to costa him his life
  20. 'Tip' of the day, with these grips you will only be able to ride in spurts At least he rides with a helmet or two!
  21. I've got a plate and nine screws in mine, looks very similar to a garden rake. Doc says if it doesn't bother you leave it in. Winter and my seat belt used to be uncomfortable, but that goes away after a few years.
