  1. Someone stole the road, or at least a helluva big chunk of it. What does one do with a 10 meter square piece of road?
  2. The guy was cross training

It reflects how cycling has grown in popularity, from being a very selective sport to being one of mass appeal.
  7. In those days the Argus was just picking up in popularity in Cape Town but was practically unheard of in JHB. Travelling 1400 k's to do a 3hr fun ride was considered insane. Nowadays, the number of people travelling from all over the world to do this fun ride is insane
  8. Got this off Racetec. The results from my first Argus. Check the total number of finishers!!! Geez, I think some of the lower order groups are that size alone these days 1984/03/31 The Argus Cycle Tour 104 03:18:47 151/2023
  9. Here's a blast from the past. Me on the far left riding an 1983 ALAN with toe straps nog al. Still got the bike. Did a 2:43 on that bike way back in my youth
  10. Rather than swearing, I would rather take God's or some other fictitious religious figures name in vain
  11. She's only just got to africa' date=' and already her lips look like pootoo smackers!!![/quote'] ? I actually know a girl with lips like that! Do you know Angelina Jolie??
  12. To be honest, I have never needed one of these, the stock standard cable tie from Builders has always worked for me.
  13. Excuse my ignorance JB, but what would you use these for on a bike?
  14. These ones:http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=39752 Yep, thats the one! Bought some myself recently and they work perfectly, even at 180psi which is what I pump my tubbies to
  15. Don't put fake Cannondale stickers on, put then real thing on and dramatically increase the resale value of your bike
  16. I hope they are quite snappy about it! Oops, wrong choice of words. I hope they prioritize the job in good time for the Herald this week-end
  17. Is Tesco a late night store?
  18. My bottle slips through the bottom of my less than secure carbon cage, particularly when full and on bumpy roads. It rubs on the down tube in a very similar spot as your picture. Fortunately my frame is Ti so no damage.
