  1. Oops, Hairy's fetish is out the closet... Nude men on ebikes [emoji14]
  2. No one is in that much of a hurry!? You may as well just drop the price on your own ad to that level and it'll sell quickly. The lower the price the faster it sells, many people(including my own dumbass at times) will buy things purely because they are bargains, a low price instantly and massively widens your market.
  3. That bike looks post WWII to me but I could be wrong.
  4. Have good well lit pics, all the specs incl links to the item on a website if possible, ask realistic price and it's a no brainer, it will sell. Also selling is a waiting game unless you know the item is in high demand, finding the buyer that wants the exact item you are selling in that colour and size is a bit like finding a needle in a haystack. But what's the rush, put the ad up and leave it, if you've followed the aforementioned the buyers will come, all in good time. Drop the price slightly over time if needs be but if it was reasonable initially then not too much because the tit that eventually buys it will probably make an offer or pull the what's your best price bs and you need some space to feed the buyers "I got a bargain" twinge. Not all buyers do that but you have to plan for it!
  5. Those sds drills are pretty much bullet proof, I've even seen new ones around the R1000 mark, from the cheapie brands but even those will beat an impact drill by a huge margin.
  6. As far as I understand it especially with the brushless impact driver it has a few desirable features that the normal impact driver doesn't have. One being torque control.
  7. I don't recall seeing this on the Hub, Strand cyclist got a knife in head, like sticking in the head, with pics. He survived https://www.bicycling.com/news/a25395419/cyclist-knife-in-head/
  8. Only advice is to look at the brushless versions of those aren't them. Also if you already have a corded drill for impact drilling into walls I'd choose a drill without impact, they are lighter(easier to hold and manoeuvre) and cheaper. For impact drilling a cheap corded Sds drill is magic, light years ahead of an impact drill, especially for larger holes or into hard concrete.
  9. Good pepper spray is brutal, I test mine every so often to make sure it's still pressurised and invariably get a tiny wiff despite my best intentions and that tiny bit kicks hard, I'd hate to get a full face of it.
  10. That's dodgy, they should at least cover the lenses for for factory issues like the coating bubbling and flaking.
  11. I have seen that same deal but with 2 1.5Ah batteries instead of 1x 2Ah, worth googling for anyone that may prefer 2 of the smaller batteries vs 1 2ah.
  12. From what I have read the Ingco are one of the best budget brands. Bosch has dropped their cordless drill prices so much lately if you look for specials, often at Makro and Builders, you can get Bosch blue for just about that price and Bosch knocks Ingco out the park.
  13. Unless you need to drill lots of large holes or into concrete an impact driver wins hands down. You do get drill bits with hex shafts to use in impact drivers, I have a few and they work great. For me the only negative with an impact driver is the noise, the impacts make a very loud tack-tack-tack sound but that's the only drawback.
  14. Easy bike has the gun for R199, very good price: https://www.easybike.co.za/finish-line-grease-gun.html I have the Pedro's one which is pretty much the same, advantage over a syringe is you can pump the grease at far greater pressure and it's easier on the hands. But that being said a syringe does work really well though.
  15. I recognise that make [emoji10]Super sketchy Chinese shop brand, but they do make some ok stuff from time to time, price normally awesome and if it works it works.
  16. What I like about 2hnd shops is you often find some really obscure tools and brands, or really old stuff that was made supremely well and just needs a buff and a little love.
  17. What makes it so much better than the normal cheapies you get?
  18. Unless you are using them commercially (and even then probably very little difference) Blue vs Red Gedore is a moot point, I have Gedore red ratcheting spanners and the quality is top shelf.
  19. Rectangular vehicle floor mats work great, you get the ones with deep tread and light tread. The deep ones are nice for taking things apart because the tread catches all the little parts and stops them from rolling away. They are also easy to pick up and then empty the accumulated dirt in the bin or outside. Checkers in the bigger stores with an automotive section has some nice light tread ones that were also the cheapest I could find , Midas also has a few variations.
  20. Ah sorry does that set come with a JIS size #1 Phillips driver in it?
  21. Where did you get the Metabo bit set?
  22. Those are probably good screwdrivers but there's no phillips type (JIS pattern obviously) driver in the set and that's really where the real magic of having a JIS screwdriver is at. Japanese brand Vessel make some very nice JIS screwdriver sets, I have seen a few of their tools for sale in SA but not the JIS stuff.
  23. The smallness is the advantage, the day will come when you use it in a tight space and it's a life saver. Do you have a link for that? Those sets are amazing, it's quite hard to find a quality set with a huge range like that and especially the slim shaft long bits are great, good quality as well. I eventually found a seller in Japan on eBay, parcel never arrived though due to Sapo You can get nice sets on Amazon so an option is to add a set when when you or someone you know orders something there.
  24. That's actually brings up an interesting question, how much did the op "save" by buying the bike 2hnd, what would it have cost him new? R60k is not a whole lot in new bike prices, around R180k seems to be where the high end tops out these days.
  25. The problem with Rikus losing R2000 is then he won't make as much profit(he claims otherwise but we know better [emoji10]) and that is not acceptable.
