Hancook said it will take them 3 years to get tyres ready for Formula! So the drivers will have to use old tyres from back yards for the next 2 years.... Ha! ha!

What will happen if Pirelli pull out at the end of the year? So next year all the drivers will be without tyres!!! What is all the fuss about limit testing on tyres! The offical needs to think about safety...

You cannot blame PPA for kids safety! I blame ANC because the police and traffic law and taxi are useless nowadays! Can you explain how can PPA improve cycling safety?? My dream is that we have cycling paths from south suburb to Cape Town next to De Waal drive.... Can't TMP support and PPA build cycling paths...

In the past, I always complain that the service bills are too high and the mechanic don't do their job properly. Now I try to buy all the bearings and spare chains and cassette and keep as back-up! I try to service myself and get help from friends who knows. It saves me alot and I have only myself to be blamed, if something goes wrong, not the mechanics...

Remember 2000 lumen battery will not last long then 1200 lumen. I will use 2000 lumen for singletracks and 1200 lumen for road.... At the moments I use 1200 and 3000 lumen, when I go to forest at 4:30 till 7am. It is nice to have two lights as back-up.. I remember one time I rode with one light and battery fell off. It was so dark and I nearly went to tree. Also other time, I forgot to recharge the battery and it died. I was lost in the dark, but managed to find way home.

The biggest problem is that most drivers don't have patient or don't want to slow down or give us space... It is easier to knock cyclist over than face on-coming traffic..... The law on SA roads are becoming out of hands... We, cyclist better come together and block N1 and N2 to get governement to do something about it...

Why don't they bring Tyler, Heras, Landis and Hincapie to this show? It will be interesting and full of drama???

I agree that we need to have disc licences on our bikes like old days. If the bicycle worth R1000, licence is R50/yr. If the bicycle worth R50 000, licence is R100/yr. It is difficult for cops to fine the riders for disobeying the rules. That is why we need licences.. If they don't carry licences, the cops take away the bicycles, until you renew licences... I saw lots of riders jumping thru red robots, swearing at drivers, blocking the roads, carrying no helmets, arrogants etc... I feel that causes drivers to be angry and don't care about them, until too late...

They should ban him for life, if he does not tell us where he got EPO and which type? He better stay away from cycling...

Good pts! But if you see MTB races, they provide food, accomodation, vibe and etc - not Road races!! We need to do similar to MTB races...

Why don't PPA organise a form or website for us / league riders to fill in to see what we want from PPA??? We don't want same route year after year... Getting bored! We need more longer rides like One Tonner, Double Century (getting so popular) MTB stages are so popular, so why can't they do same for road races.. Find a good town with camping ground and have 2-5 days races.. We can have 3 laps over Red Hill = 90km in south suburb.... I am thinking of hanging up my bicycle and retire.... because nothing changed.....

Linden Cycle should ask her ID number before she borrows the bike, so that you can report to police if not returned by Monday.... Police can track her thru ID no.... If she returns, make her to pay for it...

Why don't they have racing DC on Sat with no stops, just catch goodie bag and have social DC on Sun with 30mins stops???? Can't they lay a mat or carpet over the gravel road?? Bigger prize money for full team to complate.....

We all need answers: 1) Any comments from Kevin Evans (Is he hiding away or what?) 2) Where did David George get EPO? 3) Why did CSA ban or investigate him a while back, when he was kicked out of Barloworld? 4) Are all SA pro taking drugs or not? Look at George, Hoffmann, Fouche, Lund?, Ownie?

Bring back Giro, Boland and Rapport Tour!!! Can't PPA go out and find main sponsors for those races??? They have time... Our racing need to be improved! More prize money!! Block main road between Muizenberg and Kalk Bay. Throw cycling party!!

It will be nice if they can organise cycling path from Tokai or Constantia to town to keep us off the busy roads....while commuting to work and back home.

I find it is a bit scary for bus or trucks to pass you on small bend of road because the drivers think they pass you well enough space, but at the back of truck or bus comes closer to you on the bends. If it happens, I try to jump on pavements or just squeeze thru. I feel the drivers of bus or trucks, should think and know size of vehicle.... Example:- Give those drivers a bicycle and show them what it feels like on the bend when truck or bus come past...
