  1. Yes please, I would appreciate if you can. Check for Theo Grové on the WA DOC group or will send you a PM tom.
  2. Unfortunately, look like there's not many options in that area besides Clarens ...
  3. Can I order online or need to go there physically?
  4. I will for sure get one of these asap.
  5. The MPPT controller that feed the dual element in geyser is in the roof next to the geyser. I know since my first MPPT needed to be replaced under warranty because it popped. Edit: The geyserwise display unit only show the geyser temp and switch Eskom on or off depending on the temps & times programmed. The solar on the geyser is "always on" and completely separate from the rest. It stop pushing power to the geyser when the temp hit 75 deg.
  6. I'm pretty sure this will not be compatible, but will replace it in heartbeat with one that would be. Maybe they have a wireless module that connect to this ? 🤷‍♂️
  7. Same as for Frosty, let me know if you find more info please.
  8. That would be awesome to remote monitor, please let me know if you find out more.
  9. Mine have a dual element that can get power from PV and Eskom ...
  10. Thats 100% correct. Power come from PV and/or Eskom.
  11. Mine was R19k for a 150 liter geyser.
  12. Yes you can no problem.
  13. Before this I was very happy with it, but must say now disappointed. It mean it is a consistent issues that could have been avoided with proper R&D to ensure the battery is good quality and last for more than just 6 months .... Edit: Will still try to get it replaced under warranty but will not buy it again after that.
  14. Thanks, was that also about 6-7 months from you got it? If yes, then it seems like mine is a battery issue also.
  15. Thanks, but there is NO Bluetooth signal coming from the unit. Also there is no ON/OFF switch, it power up by it self when you start riding (normally, don't do that anymore). Anyone with XCADEY specific experience?
  16. Yip, got a ref and followed up with multiple email and NO response .... ☹️😡
  17. No solution yet. Unfortunately I ordered via AliExpress and XCADEY in China is not responding to any of my communication .... ☹️
  18. Same here, I got 2 x Li batteries in parallel on the gate, so far zero issues.
  19. If you are not to far from Alberton and XL size like me, I can give you a bib for free, it will help a lot. PM me if you interested.
  20. do you have padded pants/bib of some sort?
  21. Mine was about R19k, but I did negotiate to get it down, They initially wanted something like R21k. Edit: Thats for a 150 liter geyser, obviously for a bigger geyser you need more oemf from the panels and hence more expensive.
  22. I also have 2x455W panels with Geyserwise on my geyser. So far we use very little to zero Eksdom to heat the geyser. In winter might need some, but for now I'm smiling all the way.
  23. If only someone can get it away from the road before a car flatten it ... 😐
  24. Yes also think its a new event and look more like a gravel race than MTB. Will be doing it also with my MTB.
  25. 1. I have a 5kW Inverter and 8 x 455 = 3640W panels. 2. So far I'm very happy with my Lux-Power, very good value for money. 3. I have 3 x 3.6kWhr Mecer (Same as Dyness) batteries, excellent quality. Will add a 4th at a later stage. This setup work perfectly for me, provided that there is not more than about 3 bad sun days in a row. A 4th battery would help a lot with that.
