  1. With the crappy weather, my batteries is at 57% at the moment 😞. If they can get to 60% at least before sundown, it should be enough to get me through the night without using any Eksdom power .... ðŸĪŠ.
  2. I went from a 2013 Fox Float 32 CTD Factory (100mm) to the latest 34 SC (120mm). For ME, the difference is chalk & cheese, massive. I'm able to ride tech stuff that I wouldn't in the past. All in all I ride with a lot more confidence now. Sure, this is an unfair comparison since my previous fork is very old and out dated.
  3. This stats on gear usage is awesome. I'm using Archer Components Trail D1x which give me perfect shifting but unfortunately no such info on gear usage ... . This would probably be the sole reason for me to go AXS once my Trail D1x is finished in future.
  4. Amazing that people still think they can get away with this crap .... ðŸĪĶ‍♂ïļ
  5. Don't worry, your titles are safe, both the stirrer and the tantrum ones .... ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚
  6. So far I must have been lucky, no issues with guys hassling to send stuff or the other way around. @Jewbacca I'm with you on this one. there's no reason not to wait patiently until one finds the time to send.
  7. Nice to see you on here Firoz, well done, you the man !!!
  8. Eish, that's as clear as mud water, is drafting allowed or not .... ðŸĪ·â€â™‚ïļ
  9. I only need it to work on the front hub, but it doesn't ... Luckily I found a kit for going std to boost on a center-lock hub.
  10. That is what I also thaught. Problem is the 6 pins that hold the rotor does not go through the spacer hence it cant hold the rotor. Also the center-locking ring's thread it not long enough to reach and screw into the hub. I did manage to find a kit that should work however: https://www.summitbikes.co.za/index.php?id_product=1406&controller=product&search_query=boost&results=16 Edit: What I missed is the fact that the center-lock ring will hold the rotor in place and not 6 bolts as per a normal 6 bolt hub, hence it also needs to be extended to reach the hub.
  11. Hi Guys, is there anyone that managed to "adapt" a std. Centre Lock hub to a boost hub? I got the kit from RapidÃĐ and the spacing of the wheel in the fork is perfect. Problem is to adapt the disc rotor spacing/position. I also bought the center-lock to 6 bolt adapter from Wayne hoping I can make it work, but doesn't look like it. Any ideas please?
  12. Remind me to never ever mess with you ... 🙈ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚
  13. Lux-Power, Deye, Victron. In that order getting more expensive from first to last. Support on all three of these are very good.
  14. I also battled with that k@k sticker. Scratched the most off, washed the bike (soaking) and removed the last bit of stickiness on my handlebar with turpentine (turps).
  15. I bought a 5kW Lux-Power, very happy with it so far. The remote manage & monitor is great, work like a charm ...
  16. Thanks Martin, I owe you !
  17. The old inverter was a "Synerji", Axpert derivative. I sold it together with 4x200Ah lead-acid batteries for enough to have a 80% deposit on another LiFePO4 battery , just waiting for stock ...
  18. I also ride a RM Element 970 RSL. AndrÃĐ will sort you out, he got the spares you need.
  19. I have 10 x 455W panels, 2 of them are dedicated to heating the geyser. So 8 x 455 = 3640W. Interesting enough since I'm on the new inverter I saw a number of times more than 3640W coming from the panels. I even saw just over 4000W once. With my previous "Axpert inverter" (with crappy mppt controller) I got 2500W max. I did not know the charge controller can make such a big difference.
  20. Not sure what you mean with "fully hybrid" ... mine is hybrid enough for me ... ðŸĪŠðŸ™ˆ I went for a 5kW Lux-Power at half the price of a 5kW Deye and don't regret my decision for one second. Switch over between grid/battery/solar is seamless, don't even notice it. Very user friendly to setup and monitor on my cellphone via WIFI or on my PC. In our complex we are 4 out of 6 units with inverters, 3 of the 4 is Lux-Power and not a single complaint so far ....
  21. I found the exact same. I'm close to reverse "load-shed" Escom ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚, BUT, when a few rainy/cloudy days in a row strike, I'm buggered. To have enough reserve to account for ALL "bad sun days" would be a massive and expensive exercise. For now I'm happy to cover more than 95% of my needs.
  22. Unfortunately I agree, this is the sad reality. I will however keep hoping the a-hole is identified at some point.
  23. I had my number on helmet & handlebar, it found 2 photos so far by the same photographer. Will just keep checking to see if more pops up. Its going to be very tricky to figure out what time I went past the various photo stations. The one I thought would be easy to find is in the starting shoot before the race, tried according to approximate time but nothing ...
  24. Its not a huge effort for them to go black .... ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚
  25. That's just sad, going through all the effort and then there's no official result .... 🙈. Hopefully it will be rectified soon ....
