  1. Im in Alberton, can come collect.
  2. Yes please, can I have it. Willing to pay, just let me know how much.
  3. All 3 these are pretty decent deals !
  4. I saved a lot while still on lead acid batteries. You save in the day from the solar panels but at night you can not withdraw from the lead acids every single day, hence at night you using mostly Escom. Summary of how my usage came down on average per day: 1. 19 kWhr (Before any solar or batteries) 2. 9.8 kWhr (Solar panels + 5kW Inverter + Pb Batteries) 3. 6.9 kWhr (Added PV panels & dual element on the geyser) 4. 5.3 kWhr (Change setting on inverter to only charge batteries using solar) 5. 0.5 kWhr (Added 2 x 3.6 kWhr LiFePO4 batteries and withdraw from them every night) Obviously every ones usage is diiferent but this is how it worked out for me. Each of those averages are over a minimum period of 3 weeks and longer.
  5. Gravel what ? ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚
  6. We did it, 3rd Mixed Open ....
  7. I tend to agree with you, I normally wear my baggies on my XC bike. Mostly only use a bib if I do a race, and even then, if my stomach just a little upset the morning of the race, I revert back to the baggies. So much less effort to go for a number 2 then .... 😁 (Sorry, I know, too much info ... 🙈)
  8. That size system will give me nice ample buffers on all fronts. I would like to add another 3.6 battery, but that will have to wait for now. When my inverter "expire", I will also go for a ~ 7kW.
  9. Lets put it this way, the less you deplete the batteries everyday, the longer they will eventually last.
  10. Agree, should run it no problem, but the batteries will get drained much faster. Although my batteries can safely discharge to even 80-90%, I prefer not to do that, I get grumpy if they get close to the 50% mark, but that's just my OCD .... ðŸĪŠ
  11. Either that or he's a stalker .... ðŸĪŠðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
  12. The important thing to keep in mind is that even if your system can handle any of your appliances, its not a good idea to run any heavy hitters (geyser, kettle, microwave, aircon etc ... ) from the batteries for extended periods. My system is nicely sized for my requirements, 10x455W PV panels, 5kW Hybrid inverter and 2x3.6 kWhr LiFePO4 batteries. I'm utilizing & monitoring my usage very carefully and use very little Escom (about 0.5 kWhr per day). My only/biggest challenge is educating the ladies in the house 🙈. They seem to think we can run anything and everything all the time .... ðŸĪĶ‍♂ïļðŸĪŠ.
  13. All I'm gonna say is LiFePO4 batteries is THE ****, I will never waist my time with any kind of Pb Acid batteries again .... 🙈ðŸĪŠ
  14. I got a pinched nerve in my neck so that shaking didn't do the pain any favors. The Chiro convinced me to take a week off riding to allow some healing. With @117 (Martin "Mutton" and Molly also rode with us on Sat) we have a small riding group, usually start riding from The Eye.
  15. Hey Frosty, I rode with you guys . I was the one suffering the most on the Rocky ... 🙈 Edit: That heat & corrugations did a proper number on me.
  16. How good is the chamois? Good enough for longer rides (> 60km)?
  17. Same here, it fit nicely in my bottle shaped tool bag. Not going to risk it falling off on a ride.
  18. That is such a nice looking bike. Pity about the "heavy" frame otherwise I would have been riding one already ....
  19. OK guys, I think the point was made load and clear. Shame, we completely scared the OP from responding to posts at all ...
  20. Finally got mine this morning, very neat !!! And yes that attempt "clip" is pathetic, simply going to glue it. Somewhere between the design intent and the execution something obviously went wrong. Can for sure not rely on it, as is, to keep it from getting lost on the trail. Rest of the product look pretty solid.
  21. Thanks for all the responses from the fair Cape .... Maybe something closer to home here is Gautengeleng .... 🙈
  22. Very nice pic Mr M.
  23. I recently bought a 2022 Fox 34 Factory Step Cast 120mm fork. The shiny black fork fit 100% with my bikes color but the bright orange on the decal is not a good fit at all, I simply cant get used to it. Anyone know where I can get either Fox original or custom decals in preferably white on black or maybe even gold/yellow on black? I searched the net but options are very limited, will appreciate any help/info, thanks.
  24. If mine is also shitty, I'm gonna glue them together. Can still take the tool out and also remove completely with the strap.
