  5. All I know is it takes some big gahoonas to call a guy the size of Karma an asshole. He's not exactly a jockey sized lad.

  12. Dont lie. You loved riding behind us at CM on Friday
  13. It's gonna take a loooooong time for them to be fixed. Think I was one of the last to o through bennies bend before they changed the route. Being on the SS I tried to ride it and that hole on the corner was so deep that my front wheel buried up to the hub.
  14. We used it at the rietvlei 24hr. Helped for about 1 km per lap,
  15. howzit guys thanx for a great weekend. was an awesome weekend had a lot of fun. managed to leave my helmet at the wash station if anyone picked it up please could you PM me it is a Black and red Giro Atmos with a RSA flag and J Meyer on the right back edge. please keep an eye out for it.
  16. Sorry explained in previous post. African Rock Python
  17. Google is your friend. They don't keep for more than a year. We did use some expired stuff to treat my mates GSP (German short haired pointer) from a cobra bite and it worked a treat but wouldn't suggest it on humans. Isolated, no cell reception, endless bushveld. Sounds like a *** spot to live. Not. (haha lucky bastard) I'm off to open a new concession and build a lodge in CAR next year can't wait, so over jhb. Bottom line is don't get bit. Read up on the snakes in your area and their activity, habitat and behaviour. This could limit the chance of an encounter. Prevention is better than cure.
  18. Touch wood NO Not by anything that could kill me. Been stung and bite by all else. Had an af rock bite a hole in my school shoe once
  19. Just keep some anti-venom at home then. When I was living up in kasane ( Chobe) Botswana. My housemate and I used to be the local snake wranglers for all the locals and lodges. Kept anti venom in the fridge as the nearest hospital that could treat us was francistown a good 6 hrs drive. The most common snakes we caught where puffies, Af rock pythons and a lot of Anchietas cobras ( formally angola cobra)
  20. If your in jhb try summit cycles in kyalami speak to Anton (dangle) If you in PTA try epic cycles in centurion
  21. Hell yeah. I took so long to finish my moonshine on route at the SSWC that I even missed the flasher there. Dammit
  22. 1 more salty stuff at water points. Like the potatoes on the N14. Would help a lot of people with cramps. 2 better participation from the pubs on the route. Colony, hooters, corner house. Woulda killed for a couple more beers. 3 that chick with the violin on the lion park climb from 2011 4 more of my friends out on course ( can you bastards slow down rouxtjie, swift01, eldron, iron, edgar Roghoff and I guess the other 18 odd thousand that beat me. Haha.) 5 more people having fun and not being so serious.
  23. That's just embarrassing for him. 94.7 road race entry - R300 Powerade juice (cause you not taking it seriously) - R 9 Niner SS MTB gear ratio 32:18 with knobblies - R 15 000 Watching some guy on a R 80 000 carbon time trial bike sucking your back wheel - PRICELESS
  24. Only when combined with a USN race. Note have not done another USN since
  25. If I was a feather weight race snake I'd consider a rigid righty. But no hub rim combo is gonna withstand the amount of bunny hopping I do and at 100kg it's an accident waiting to happen.
