  1. Will be done by Dr Manie de Wilde at Wilgeheuwel. was really impressed with his way of identifying the problem and to eliminate all possible issues. A total different experience from the first guy I visited.
  2. Thanks V12 - Did just that and will have a astroscopy (spelling) on Friday morning. Pain is due to some calcification on the bone structure in the shoulder that caused a small tear in the muscle and continuous inflammation and pressure.
  3. Please help has anybody experienced something similar and what is the solution. After the Bundu Bash I started with a numb pain in my left shoulder. This later moved down to the back of my arm and front of my forearm, like a tennis elbow. Saw an Orthopaedic Surgeon last week and he said it looks like the start of a Frozen Shoulder, although I have full mobility of my arm and shoulder. He prescribed some anti inflammatory medication and Physio. After two weeks absolutely no improvement and the pain remains. The pain is worse when I sit in front of the computer and even worse when I try to go for a ride. Anybody experienced something similar.
  4. Agree with you maybe I should change the "copy" to " Cervelo is 10 years ahead in their design"
  5. If you read carefully and look at the pictures you will see that I refer to the Aero shape of the frams.
  6. It took them close to 10 years to copy the aero shape from Cervelo
  7. Pleasure will you let me know. I can arrange delivery in PTA tomorrow afternoon
  8. I stopped reading after page 2 - Soooo afraid to get infected by you lot
  9. I have a helmet available. Will also add a flashing rear light. Where must I send or deliver it
  10. Talk to Mark at Strides. He design and built specific racks for trailers. www.strides.co.za or 0828553005
  11. The whole Cervelo range are awesome. Previous distributor is SA messed up the brand. Hopefully with the new guys involved it will regain its status as one of the best brands.
  12. Should not be a problem as long as you use 11 spd cluster and chain. Movement of the derailleur are determined by the shifter. You might have to change the two wheels on the derailleur to take the 11spd chain, although I don't think it will be necessary Just read the thread as indicated above and I learned something. Was not aware of the so called Pull Ratio difference between 10 and 11 spd. Works perfectly with 9 and 10 spd.

    Kremetart 2015

Does anybody know where we can find the photos taken at Kremetart during stages as well as at price giving. Again a big thanks to organisers - despite the very cold start and wind they had everything under control. What an excellent event. See you next year
  14. If you did not authorize it instruct your bank to reverse the charge to your card.
  15. That's a great idea. Please give me a shout when you finalise dates - we would like join in. For a 100km's I would suggest that we start at Van Gaalens and do the farm roads to Breedts and back.
  16. Experienced the same with my Stages and Tacx. Tacx reading was at least 20 to 40 watts higher. I don't know of any way to calibrate the Tacx to give similar readings than the on bike power meter.
  17. Still a few entries available. Entered about 10 min ago
  18. I've just entered 10 minutes ago. It look as if there is still 52 entries available for the Marathon
  19. Anybody with an entry available pls let me know
  20. Was a great event. I agree that the last 10 sucked but apparently that was due to a local farmer given short notice that his land is not available and organisers had to improvise to get the distance close to the advertised 80km
  21. Indexing is not controlled by the derailleur but by the shifter. So if its 8 spd shifter with 8 spd cluster it should not be a problem. The only issue might be the width of the chain going through the derailleur.
  22. Too late pal. These things get changed only when some member of parliament already have a road sign business and need a new contract
  23. What Kraggie said above is 100%. Much better to do it yourself and more cost effective. You only need 3 basic things - Tubeless valve, Rim tape (Stanss or Gorilla) and Stans sealant.
  24. Cycling SA has finalised a medical expenses benefit with Hollard Insurance Company. Each member will receive a benefit of up to R20,000 for the actual medical expenses incurred for any incident whilst riding or competing on their bicycle If that is the wording of the policy it should cover you iro any incident whilst riding or competing on your bicycle. This does not exclude non sanctioned events
