  1. Just a warning to all you cyclist on the Van Galen trails.DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR THAT CAN BE SEEN whilst your car is left unattended in the parkin area. My car's window was smashed and 2 cycling bags, and other clothing items inside the car stolen. This happened on Sunday 11/12 between 7:20 and 10:30 despite the "security" hanging around the parking area. They are actually useless. I must give kudos to Victor van Galen who assisted us to get hold of the police etc . Thanks Victor - but please consider the camera system and gate security that we discussed. Also excellent service from the police at Hartebeespoort Dam. Because they took ages to get to van Galens, I decided to rather drove to the station to report. Very friendly and helpful service from taking the statement, fingerprints etc.
  2. Saw the most horrific crash this morning in the Cradle. It happened about 30 meters in front of us. A monkey ran accross the road into a cyclist front wheel and caused a terrible fall. The cyclist looked badly injured. We assisted with traffic control but left when paramedic arrived. Monkey was dead in the road Does anybody know the cyclist and what his condition are. Wish you a speedy recovery
  3. At last I request my Broker to assist. But I submitted all the forms they required etc. Just not very happy with them at this stage.
  4. They are the worst company when it comes to admin and customer support. I have tried now for 2 months to change my banking details without success. This morning I discovered ( ) that again the debit orders was submitted to the wrong bank. Anybody with some suggestions on other medical aid companies that one can consider.

For the first time in my life I will not support the Bokke. Not because of the players as they don't select themselves but because our administrators, selectors and coach have no idea what they doing. Very similar to our government - a bunch of clowns

He said that himself and he is 100% right.
  12. We had exactly the same problem. Took it to the LBS I bought the bike from and they (not sure if it was LBS or Giant) replaced the brake calipers with longer lever ones - free of charge. According to them this was a design issue that they rectified.
  13. I see you are based at Clear water and I assume from your avatar that its roadies you're looking for. I will pm you contact details of a club and contact person where there is a group consisting mainly of female riders starting on Saturdays and Sundays at Stone Cradle at Muldersdrift

AC must realize that his problem is no 12 in the backline , that impacts on Jantjies directly as his attacking ability is hampered due to 12 lying too flat. that also create a defense problem. Put the right inside centre next to Jantjies and he will again perform as we expect from him. Agree it could be Goosen but my 1st choice would be van Rensburg The current no 12 also neutralise Mapoe totally. So hopefully AC knows something more about rugby than to replace Mapoe and keep Dialende
  15. Done the loop a few times - great training and very safe as far as traffic is concerned. Does anybody know if there is some MTB trails in the reserve
  16. What has the frame to do with the choice of groupset. They fit on all frames unless you don't want to mix Italian frame with USA groupset. Only limit is that certain frames are not electronic groupset compatible unless you are prepared to run wires everywhere or drill holes.

"Goosen to move to 12 next to Jantjies - two first fives like the Kiwi's say :w00t:" This might be an option as he (Goosen) was not a success at Fullback and Dialende (Spelling) is really useless. Someone must have told him to sometimes pass the ball and now he is a specialist in hospital passes.
  18. Agree with these moments of the day. Biggest flop / disappointment of the day: 1. The reliability of the Spez bicycles and tyres. 2. commentary from Gerald, he knows absolutely nothing about cycling and the riders. I stopped counting his incorrect statements after about 10 mistakes. 3. The camera work that showed nothing of the field and only the front. That said it was a great race from Nino - welldone
  19. What KingTJ said. Also is this a MTB or road bike. If MTB change to tubeless. If a Road bike then follow Kingtj's advice and if it goes flat change the tubes in both tyres.
  20. That looks like That looks like the Carmichael Field Test. I think the 20 min test is way more accurate
