  1. Thanks for this info. Do you know if it will fit a Suntour crank as well
  2. My apologies for only getting back now. Attached a picture - not the one I've got - but look exactly the same. No name on it as it's being used a lot before I got it
  3. Will take a pic tonight. Not even sure it's got a name on
  4. After cleaning the frame I sanded the "Nickel Plating" with 1000 water paper just to get a bit of roughness on it. Used Edge Primer as undercoat and then 2K Celeste that a paintshop mixed for me with extra hardener. Spayed with el Cheapo gun bought from the paintshop. As soon as the decals are on the full frame to be covered with 2k Clear.
  5. Thanks QB - This is a real home project so doing everything myself. Ordered decals from the UK so just waiting for that to continue

  8. Thanks - Got hold of Emile. I Started stripping the paint from my Bianchi frame (it's a Super Rekord 920 frame) and to my surprise the whole frame seem to be chromed. Is this normal. I am also looking for a Italian Thread Square tapered BB - if anybody know where I can get one will appreciate the feedback.

  17. It sounds as if you know the whole story - so give us the whole story. Why was it advertised as new if it was used. Why don't you just supply a new set in exchange. Surely you have the address as you send the crank to him originally. Common get your head out the hole and fix the problem.

Paul if you need a bike for your wife she can use my wife's Merida 26er untill you get things sorted. It might be slightly too big but you're welcome

    Stolen trek

It was me that looked at the bike at JCW. And I must be honest when I saw this I immediately thought that the OP might think the same as I also know about instances where this happened. I called the OP to confirm that it was the same Trek that I looked at and test ride down the road that morning. I can also confirm that as I drove off he was busy loading the bicycle on his bike-rack. Wish him luck on recovery of the bike.
