  1. Why spend the extra 2 K if you are only going to use it every now and then..If MTB is your thing then buy the raleigh for road and rather spend the 2k on some more bling....
  2. Colnago has got beautiful paintjobs....I have seen a few at the club...LOVELY
  3. Club100???
  4. I even let my kids put on their helmets if they want to cycle in the garden..
  5. Stop being Nasty....Mampara those wheels are mine...Hopefully getting paid on saturday so monday will fetch them...
  6. I actually think that the extra money is worth it...Like some of the guys said you have to at least do it once. The last couple of races I had I actually felt very unsafe due to minimal or no road closure. So if they close the route off to traffic and it cost an additional R100 bucks why not. There is nothing worse than trying to cycle in a race and every two minutes some form of "other" road transport comes racing by. Road closure = extra cost
  7. I use the Santini ones...Nice and thin and does the job. Absolutely useless in the winter though.
  8. MMMM then I guess you and I need to have a chat sometime... Pm me your details and I'll hopefully be able to see you early in next week.
  9. No' date=' still got them. All the "please tell me if you want to sell them" have faded like a cheap Argus t-shirt. I have no idea if or what the wight limit is. Word, do you know? I'll settle for 5k (not neg). And if Word continues telling me how nice they are I might keep them. So hurry before I change my mind. [/quote'] I have the money to buy them...Concern is the weight limit...Struggling to lose some weight....
  10. There used to be a trophy shop at the Hillfox power centre. They should have. Unfortunately don't know the shop name
  11. I also started with the wheels.... But in my case the most weight was actually on the frame...
  12. The fulcrum 5 is not a bad option at all...
  13. I also looked at the clip on option...End of the day rather fitted a towbar
  14. OOOOOO.....They are nice..I wants
  15. I have to agree Caadman... From me..To me.... Nice
  16. That's her name..Cherise....
  17. I'm not sure if anyone out there feels the same but the Rotary 100 from this weekend must have been the worst race I have every done. Traffic was hectic on the route. Marshalls was shocking.. Some of us ended up riding an extra 20km. Some of us less. They had no cutoffs... It was a bit deurmekaar...
  18. I have also thought about that..And they don't want you to take it outside...You must kill it first and then get rid of the body.... And they don't want to be close when you have to kill it because of the sound it makes...Those big ones makes a funny sound when you step on them.... Then of course there are those beautiful creatures...THE PARKTOWN PRAWN....... When they come to visit even the dogs sit on the couch while you have to get rid of them!!!
  19. These spiders are a common site in P.E....Used to find them in the house quite often. Only problem was when you found one...There always seemed to be a second one hanging around. And if you have a daughter that dislikes them (due to her grandmother) you are tasked to find the other visitor. Remember the first time caught one at about 5 in the morning. Placed it on the other side of the garden. At about seven the screams came from the bathroom where another sat on the towel rack. Thank goodness there was no DOOM in the house...
  20. Glad to see you are still alive.. Sent you my number Give me a call Regards Johan
