Man what memories come flooding back

This stuff is so good that I dont want to eat on long rides. I have to force myself to eat and I like eating. Bottom line 32GI ROCKS

At least cycling gives my wife something to give me *** about. I cant understand how the fact that I cycle can upset her so much. Would she prefer it if I hang around in pubs? I was in any case married to cycling before I married her so she knew how the package works. If I didnt cycle I would just be another bloated beer gut 40 year old,so the fact that it pisses her off is for her own account cause the agent dont care what she thinks about it. The positive side is that she thinks my R40 000 MTB cost R2500 cause she dont know jack **** about cycling.

Hi There is the Saturday MTB and Road Race at Pres Brand primary school Pellisier Bloemfontein. Race starts at 08h15. Entries from 06h45. On Sunday morning there is a group road ride at 11h00 from Northridge Mall in Bayswater Bloem. Cheers

Iam considering getting myself a Garmin 305. I understand the GPS thing but what does this computer offer that my Polar doesnt besides GPS. I also notice alot of Garmins for sale on the second hand market. The eventual question I have is: Is it worth my while getting a Garmin 305? A few opinions would be appreciated.

I rigged a set of Maxis Tubless. The weight saving was enormous. First ride I cut a sidewall and had to trash the tyre. I now stick to the right tubeless tyres and live with the weight. Oh and the right tubeless setup is a Race King Rear and Mountain King Front. But that is just da Agents opinion.

I should have kept my mouth shut.Now everybody is taking Bloem to pieces. I still dig my town.

The night ride started at 18h00 and I was back home at 21h15. We now have a weekly Wednesday evening night ride. Sharpens the skills for the Baviaans etc

I know everybody makes fun of us people living in Bloemfontein. Ja there is not much happening here, but for cyclists we are very very lucky. Within 5 minutes of my house I can be in the veld on my MTB. Take for instance Thursday night. A group of us did a 80m night ride. Our route takes us through a game farm so there is plenty to see day or night. Another route takes us through a lion farm. We are able to do a 160km ride all on dirt roads and single track. Within 2 km from my house is the 7 dams conservation area. Here you can ride numerous trails and all are very testing with lots of technical sections. We are also very lucky that we are able to ride alone, bikejacking is unheard of. I spoke to friend in JHB the other day, he has to load his mtb in the car and travel to do a decent off road ride. When I ride my road bike I feel safe as traffic is not really a big issue. So at the end of the day Bloem is actually a pretty cool place to live if you enjoy cycling.

The best thing I ever did was to consult a dietician, 10kg in two months by just tweeking my diet and eating the correct foods. I am fitter and faster and that results in confidence.

The key word here is KENDA. I had 3 Kenda Karma tyres explode. This is not very pleasant at 3am and you have to clean Stans off walls ceilings and furniture. But then I SAW THE LIGHT!! Conti Race King and a Conti Mountain King. Anyway it appears as if Kenda Tyres do not enjoy sealant.
