I always refuse to put any stickers on my car. BUT I went to my car and put it on after untill last weeks sad news. I did however fit the sticker to the window and not the paint.
All traffic fines must be multiplied by 10! This will make all road users think and drive according to the rules. Time to scare us all to obay the rules.
I spent 5 years on the north coast of KZN training daily on the N2. It was the safest place to cycle. The verge was 2.5m, far safer than the alternative roads with no verge and uncut grass forcing you in the the line of traffic. The police always greated me as I rolled by.
I am not able to ride, I was hit by a car a few months back and now recovering from surgery to my shoulder. Burry's passing has left me hollow! I look at my wife and kids and worry about getting on the road again... I would like to see traFfic fines (all fines) multiplied by 10 to assist installing the rules on our roads! I now have a 1.5 m sticker on my car.
According to the Witness newspaper- the taxi turned in front of him, he went through the passenger window. Father on scene shortly after, wife arrived after accident and held him till. Mother hospitalized. Driver stopped. Truly sad, cried after reading article.
This must be a country wide event, at the exact same time. We must use main roads to show that we have all had enough and speak as one. Proper organization.
