  4. No difference at all.
  5. Very similar. Designed by the same chap. He moved from fox to specialized about 5 years ago (I think).
  6. I developed the same thing as of April after I changed bikes. Mine is in the same palm area but along the ring finger. Hurts on really long off road rides (4 hours +). Doc says my setup caused the problem. I have rotated my bars in an effort to release pressure on the palm. Keen to see the response's to this thread.
  7. Shimano ROCKS
  8. I battled to pay for my 1st pair of assos. Now I own 6 pairs. Best decision I ever made. I will never buy any other brand again!!
  9. "It is the biggest regret of my life so far." So she plan to make a few more ?
  10. With a SS start yopu will come off the back, followed by a solo 94km ride.....
  11. Tweet from the organizers - #CCExpo HALF the Race Packs were collected today! Unprecedented! Never had this many collected on Day 1. We had 20 extra Staff on last year. I will collect on Saturday.
  12. I had the freewheel on my EA90 slx machined down to fit the duraace 9000.
  13. The profile on the shimano 11 speed cassette differs to the 10 speed setup. The inner profile is smaller on 11 speed.
  14. Did you address the issue while in the store?? Failing which, this is simply a title tale thread which most kids outgrow at the age of 6.
  15. I have both, I use the stat more. Rollers are a lot more work providing a better workout. Intervals and loafing are easier on the stat.

Rode my 12 shova, despite the wind I rode my best ever race. Averaged 37kph and finished with a healthy sub 3. And yes the shova is harder than the 94.7. A sub 3 94.7 is definitely easier.

Still early days but long-term weather looks bleak!! Rain..
  19. I have never replaced bearings on a spd pedal. Some of mine are 8 years old. What happened?? To service the pedal, you simply remove the axel (leave bearings in place), wash, pack the pedal shell with grease and push the axel back in. Excess grease and dirt squirts out as the clean grease cannot escape from the shell. The bearings have minimal play.
  20. Hair spray has a mild adhesive, it is the best. To remove- hair spray is the solution, spray twist and pull...
  21. I to have owned the 719 / hope, strong but heavy wheels. No need to true these wheels, they never go out... I currently run the SLR's on my 29er and 26er, brilient wheels. I would recomend them any day of the week.

I'm counting on catching a tandem at the 50 km mark...
  23. I have to agree!!
  24. 810, Hell no- how wide are your shoulders??
  25. It does, it is a major issue. I raised the same concern with the chaps doing the MTN National Mtb series, they have now changed their website. I must ask, we pay big fees to race - do the folk offering the service not have the ability to spec and vet systems?? If I slip like this in my office, I get taken out at the ankles. The responce I got when I queried the ID issue with the MTN Nationsl series was - O we did not notice...!!!
