  1. Very well written Bronabee - great sense of humour which I really enjoy. Remember "time in the saddle" is what it is all about!
  2. A very interesting question! In this modern technological world and the vast back up and resources that 360Life enjoy - how can they lose 24 minutes due to repeated puntures??? Something does not add up here!
  3. Good to see u recovering mentally. There is no doubt that you can ride again physically you just have to decide if it is worth it. I am recovering with a plate and a pin in my pelvis after being knocked off by a car. I have other interests in life and still have to decide whether cycling is worth putting my body on the line for, or take it as a message and pursue other (less dangerous) activities! Time will tell. PS I am 60

  11. Near Baynesfield on the Dards route which is a popular circuit for PMB riders.
  12. As the result of a careless motorist you realise just how vulnerable u r on the road. I did nothing wrong and was well left on a double road at the back of a group when he hit me. There was nothing I could do to avoid the accident and I feel powerless. All the hard traininhg for Argus wasted. At the moment I have no intention of training on the road again. Enjoy your Argus!
  13. Trevor is a tuff cookie and he is hoping to be back on his bike in 6 weeks!! He thretened to join us this morning for a coffee ride!! He will be back...u can count on that!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Thanks guys. Bought some super glue but with the recess in the crank and the hollow Polar magnet there was no contact when I tightend the cable tie!! So I then glued the tie and it seems to be working Ps it was white glue
  15. I have tried glue and tape but the ruddy little b@stard is as slippery as an eel!!
  16. Iron, it is not that easy. The due constitutional process has to be followed. I suggest you get on to your Provincial Cycling Body first and then you will have some say as to who gets elected. I presume you are already a committee member of your club?
  17. Buy new - save you a lot of hassle!!
  18. Very interesting - Looks like CWC is treated on this forum the same way as Dan Carter is treated by referees and how Ju Ju is treated by the law!!
  19. The goalposts hav now changed!! You have to now bring your Timing Chip along to register!! What poor planning on the organisers behalf They say Mr Price or Winning Time chip - why two??
  20. Registration and goodie bags are a rip off. For R245 they should be able to post your number to you! If CSA can email your licence to you then anyone can do it!!
