  1. Pop in the cable nut spacer to reverse the cable. Get a lever with a clamp system, from Lyne as an example, and away you go. The x-fusion is finicky to get right if you have to use the original system of locking the cable at the dropper side
  2. Hang on, is the cable length not wrong to the sleeve length? ie: too short a cable which creates tension/pulling motion on the mechanism (because the sleeve is too long), and prevents total lock out? We run a Wolftooth lever on the x-fusion manic and it works like an absolute charm - if the cable length and sleeve is correct I also run a lyne and it came with a spacer/cable end nut if you wish to run the cable end on the dropper instead of the lever (opposite cable direction to the x-fusion). It came with a spare, you're welcome to it if you wish. It will allow you to use just about any type of lever that clamps the cable at the bar. It'll also allow you to have more finite control over the cable length.
  3. Lyne and wolf tooth will be the easiest option
  4. That 👆
  5. I think in this case the OP has answered your question Peet
  6. OK, I'll bite... Why is it that retail stores only jump when social media gets involved? That to me is the toffee finger to you, as they didn't have the want to fix it when you raised the flag the first, second and (perhaps) third times. Bring reputation into it and they jump hurdles to create a cure Me, I'd never go back. Much easier to talk through your wallet, or lack there of, for the retail store
  7. Meths And if that doesn't work, strain it through some brown bread, drink the liquid that drains through and all the 947 worries will go away. In fact, the photo's might actually look top class too Yes, its cycling related - brown bread is healthy

    Dumb Question

Its friday, time to revive the dumb question thread How do I repair a tubeless trye, without using a plug? Can I safely use a tube patch on the inside of the tyre, maybe a bit of patch glue in the hole as well? Or, mushroom it and be done? For context, the plug works fine but the cut/hole is just on the inside of a knobbly bit on the outer edge of the tyre, so every time you go over a rock or hit an object with the outer edges the knob moves/flexes and the plug inches out and/or doesnt seal anymore.
  9. Before we drift off topic somewhat Dr. Phil style, is there any news from the authorities and the legal teams @FondTF2
  10. Ahem... I sold it. You're welcome
  11. Warm water and let it soak a bit Meths to remove the last sticky bits Caution you dont overspray Mr Min onto your discs or rims
  12. At least the grammar police work 😉
  13. Then you'll lose from the shed to the house. 50m is a big haul for the current. I'd put the inverter and flatteries as close to the house DB as possible. Pv panels you can afford to lose the drop off over the distance - its free anyway, well, sort of, you know what I mean, so you can place these on the dam/shed to maximize the sunrays
  14. How far is the intended install away from the DB box? You'd do good to keep it as close as possible - loss of current on long cables to the db box etc Venting is fine if you place it in a cupboard style closure, just remember to have a bigger exit vent hole than the entry vent hole.
  15. 👆 What did the medical examiner say WRT the injuries you sustained? Did he mention if it was a lefty, a right hook, a bat, a branch that hit you? I can assure the good hubbers in this world, offering a reward will not help. Rather donate your hard earned coins to Choc or OUTA or something where it will be used to good use. Dont get me wrong here, I just think the offer of reward is futile
  16. Thats how they go fishing... 😉
  17. Didn't even bother with the photo stickers...the photos from last year were crap. I cant see this year being any better. They were those sh!t paper based jobs that leave tons of stick behind when you try remove them. Meh *&#$ing tuesday
  18. That just shows you they're giving you a toffee finger the rest of the 363 days of the year on pricing and have a red light hanging outside their front door

  20. Bitch session: Those "car guards" were an absolute f*cking pain, nearly drove over 3 of them just to get to a parking spot. Its sad the organisers don't have their own people on the ground to control these free lance people. The start pen area last year was fantastic, and they had about 50 porta loo's on the ready in the pen area. This year.... 2 And the folks spraying riders with water as they come past the water points - please dont. Rather set up a gantry so riders can choose to use it or not. The coke zero sucked and the food and beer area upstairs was not really any better - the music was an absolute noise Compliment session: Other than that, the race and route was great. It was good fun bussing down the highway, on knobblies, with the roadies. The safety, rescue and medical teams were in abundance, which is great to know you always have support close by, if you need. I hope that group that fell on the highway in the Sandton area were ok, there were a lot of sore people being attended to by the medics when we flew past
  21. Not everyone that cycles partakes in the walled garden...
  22. Got the 530 back around 17h00 yesterday, it was shipped from their remote warehouse in Midrand to me in jhb south. Took 2 days for that... Anyway, it's done Now to go log that segment at nasrec expo
  23. So what's the number board with the rfid tag in it for?
  24. Bwhahahahaa - you should have made a real segment so that people can race it
