  1. So that's how fast you supposed to ride some of those trails....
  2. If they could sort out the latency on wireless it would be a winner. Even as "low" as 15Mbs download I am happy but at 250ms ping my gaming son is pulling his hair out.
  3. I always thought there was something fishy about old Magic Mike....
  4. In case anybody is looking for an Aeropress. Found this on Takealot.
  5. Stretch, ask your alarm company to quote you on a Cellular unit. No need for a Telkom line. Cellular is around R50 a month extra and it can send through zone info. You can also use a radio link with an anual license fee but it can't send zone info when the alarm is triggered.
  6. Turns out that I was looking at the old website..... (Would be great if companies took down their unused domains...) New website Their price is R689. You can buy the rubber plunger for R95 and the end cap is R55. Doesn't help me though. The fault with mine is the housing. Oh well...turns out that if it looks too good to be true, it usually is Time to go spend that credit with Takealot.
  7. <Rant on> My Aeropress is now what could be called knackered.... The inside is as rough and wrinkled as a bears arse after salmon hunting all day in deep water. It leaks a bit when brewing inverted and it's just time to be replaced after not more that a few years of use unfortunately. After much searching on the interwebs I stumbled across The Coffee Roasting Company who are supposed to be the importers of the Aeropress. Now on their site they show it listed at R325. That's a LOT cheaper than anywhere else I have seen (All around the R695 mark) and judging by the last newsflash done in 2011 I am assuming that it may be out of date... I sent them an email inquiring about current pricing and availability last Monday and I am still waiting for a response... I did however get an inquiry from them regarding a Turkish Coffee pot.... Is it unreasonable to have expected a response when I have received two read receipts from them as well as an email (Addressed to the wrong person) over the last week and a bit? <Rant off>
  8. Install Phoenix and go to Phoenix Sports. They have the SkySports feed, BT Sport, Eurosport, ESPN, FOX etc. Not always able to watch everything though.... On Sports Devil, some of the streams have a schedule option that will give you broadcast times of all sport available on that stream. You can add that to your Sports Devil Favorites. (I would advise it as sometimes trying to remember which stream worked last time is not that easy. You can always delete it later if it isn't what you were looking for...)

My youngest came home with Afrikaans homework the other night... Had to write the lyrics to this and draw a pic of the monkey on the barrel. http://www.vintagemedia.co.za/sites/default/files/television_images/Wielie_Walie_titlescreen.jpg
  11. That's what I am afraid of... I had have big plans..... Might actually just clean it, put it back together and go thrash it in the bush.... Forgo the restoration for now.....
  12. What I would do for some extra space....
  13. My Honda 200R is stripped and gathering dust.... Need to make a move on it soon otherwise I am going to forget where all the parts go....
  14. Ah OK. Thought you might have been holding out on us with a Honda 200R....
  15. What 200R is that Andy?
  16. Ja, true story. I have a 40" and SD is just fine for me. Wife and Kids are none the wiser either. Don't get me wrong, a movie or event in full HD (Even at 720p) is awesome but I still get to enjoy it in SD.
  17. Did a test the other night... Used around 250Mb on a 45 minute episode of Chicago PD streaming in SD (480p if I'm not mistaken?) So if you stream 2 episodes a night and have time to catch a movie you should be looking at around 35 to 40Gb a month. That leaves you with 60Gb to download/updates/gaming/Youtube etc For a single household I would say it should be enough as long as you have the option to top up at a reasonable price should you run out.
  18. Seems alright that. I recently "upgraded" to Telkom's 10Mb copper line on a 50+50 double data deal for R699/month. The Fibre trenches are getting closer to home though..... We are a tech hungry household and 100Gb got us to payday this month.....
  19. Will have a look for that. Sure to up the share price a bit
  20. Sat down and watched three movies this weekend. Eddie the Eagle..... what a cool movie! Just go watch it. Burnt with Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller, Daniel Bruhl and a few other recognizable faces about a washed up chef that had his career ended with drugs and alcohol. Manages to turn it around with the help of his friends. Predictable story line but easy watching entertainment for a Saturday night. Was my wife's choice but turned out to be quite enjoyable in the end. Last night was my turn and we ended up watching Eye in the Sky with Helen Mirran, Alan Rickman, Phoebe Fox, Aaron Paul and a few others. About a drone strike on suspected terrorists and the casualties of war. Not exactly thrilling stuff but something to watch without having to put too much effort into keeping up. Nice Sunday night entertainment.
  21. Not much around me here at work.... I have to pack lunch if I need to drive anywhere to get anything from civilisation. Mine were expiring so I stopped chasing the target
  22. All natural though Interestingly, I went and googled the calorific count for their smoothies FARK!!! I was using them as a "drink" after lunch.....
  23. That is one of the reasons I couldn't be arsed anymore. More hassle to collect the reward from Pavlov than what it is to score the points. Points are for the Diamond reward... they can keep their smoothies It would warm him up though.....
  24. Lot of good feedback on the Mitas E07's
