  1. Let me quote this piece of real world wisdom to ensure it remains intact forever Well said BB
  2. I figured it out... Its to hide the shaving scars on their shins, tibia and fibula. Once they learn that girls dig scars, then they convert to shorter socks...just don't tell the girls you got the scar from shaving your legs while in the shower
  3. I don’t like Hamilton, but he was a nose ahead of max and as a result max should have given way, that S bend is not made for 2 cars trying to overtake each other
  4. Exactly, Argus is just another 100 km race / funride Albeit it very well advertised and organized one Been cycling since 19voetsek and never bothered, the crowds put me off
  5. Most likely that’s why don’t see them
  6. Or carport roofs.......????☺️☺️☺️
  7. The only time I wear long socks is in winter and when they can be hidden under my long pants / winter tights. Never been able to understand why cyclists like to wear long socks…..when it’s not cold, the same with long finger gloves ???? used to love the black Falke short cycling socks which had the world champion rings around the top socks, sadly you can’t get them anymore. I always stocked up on them from sportsman’s warehouse when in SA. Now I buy short black “De Feet” socks from a local LBS, black with the LBS name around the top in white.
  8. Tbh I did not know motorsport is banned… I don’t know of any official race tracks for cars., but I’ve seen various hill climb road races advertised, and then driving 90km a day I see plenty of aspiring racers…. Who think slip streaming is cool ???? The king of all sports / motorsport is allowed, motocross and have seen various Mx tracks around and even been to watch a mx world championship race here.
  9. Epic costs, never ending question It’s what it is, people live in mansions, buy Lamborghinis, etc…. When they could live in a normal house and drive a normal car, why? because they can Did it once, paid for my mate and I But it’s not that big of an attraction to spend that kind of dosh on a regular basis as a private non business entry i only drive a Honda….
  10. In that case, you must be the pooh stirrer that people warned me about ????
  11. Ja nee, not for the shakey handed pilots
  12. One for the road bike, one for the tri bike, one for the mtb and one for the Wiffs bike ????
  13. Haven’t tried one yet and I do the same as you.... BUT, I think this looks like one of those simple but brilliant “Why didn’t I think of that” ideas. i would say it applies the drop of lube much easier and quicker than doing it the way we normally do it as per your post. The only other way to do it quicker would be to spray the chain with lube.... which just results in a mess and wasting lube ill be looking for one of these online in Europe, hope they are available here
  14. Stunning photo???? I think the CE went down there about 10 years ago
  15. I got a strava message the other day that I lost a KOM…. First time ever , never even knew I had, now I’m 3 on it…. Going to have to figure out where it is and try claim it back ????
  16. A race the next day would be the obvious solution, or they could send each driver out for 5 laps on their own and then take the fastest times from these laps to determine race final position, starting in reverse order with the fastest qualifier going last, and they must finish all 5 laps. That negates the visibility issue, after that it’s up to the drivers to make sure they finish safely I.e go as slow as they need to…..
  17. I’m trying to figure this out......seems a bit contradictory
  18. I’m referring to RR’s quoted post above, agreed though not necessarily moaning about the BH itself, rather about certain BH members. Its the same old typical hypocritical holier than thou behavior displayed on the BH old Drumpf thread. If that’s his attitude then good riddance
  19. Brilliant Greg, not to shabby for a 39 yr old Saw him win in 2003 at Lugano and just watched this now on red bull replay, what a great surprise for Sunday evening. Remember when he was a lightie racing in SA before he started doing world cups etc... a great example for kids of a multi talented sportsman.
  20. So funny Join a digital platform called discord to carry on moaning about the one they left, good to see they have little thumbs up signs to hand out. Good luck there Delaney! Aptly the definition of discord (Entry 1 of 2) 1a: lack of agreement or harmony (as between persons, things, or ideas)… must we fall into the jabber and babel of discordwhile victory is still unattained?— Sir Winston Churchill b: active quarreling or conflict resulting from discord among persons or factions
  21. Good to hear, send my regards ????
  22. Its not about "haha gotcha" and more about hearing the point of views and discussions about the situation Biden and the west (Boris in particular) are finding themselves in. Personally i feel sorry for Biden and I'm not interested in spending the next few years debating whether he is a tool or not. As for looking at other platforms, i'm trying to reduce my presence on social media forums so not really interested in joining another one.
  23. I think the point is it would have been interesting to hear the arguments from the same crowd in the hub thread that generated so much comments about trumps shenanigans. unfortunately some are no longer participating much or at all on the hub nowadays
