  1. Na kof it, i've been hubbing since 2005 not going to start again Just get used to it
  2. Came back to work last week after a short holiday and saw this "low flying" PC9 close to the airfield
  3. Oops Afterburner could snap the chains.... Actually not funny, been there and done something similar
  4. Clearly the regime feel stronger about that than hijacking of threads....
  5. Could you add an option "None" or something similar for the people who don't need to go elsewhere? Thanks
  6. Not really, I used the word etc as there are to many topics to list. Many of these are under current affairs. Anyway... let’s see how it goes
  7. Good to see a decision being made and movement in some kind of direction. What will this mean for “Off Topic” threads which are not toxic and never have been, for example: Chit chat - TV shows, Car porn, Aviation fans, I have an idea for another thread..... etc?
  8. Well done ???? Unfortunately i pulled a muscle in my lower back on Friday, don't think i will be doing anything that is strenuous for the time being
  9. So nice to see Mark Padun win the stage, love his motivation for going for the win “why not do something and maybe they'd show me on TV for my mother” https://www.cyclingnews.com/races/criterium-du-dauphine-2021/stage-7/results/
  10. TBH this has been the aim from admin long before the latest update, not banning the off topic threads but hiding them from direct view. The software has changed but the mindset and methodology remains the same. Which is a better option than a total ban, albeit a pain the butt.
  11. Adding pointless thread drift to the list
  12. My mistake thought cycling news said he would ride TDF, instead it said he would not ride TDF.... speed reading sucks
  13. I come from a world you may not understand
  14. Hopefully he caught it after leaving the giro bubble and the rest of Ineos and the giro riders did not catch it. The TDF just lost an interesting dual between EB and Roglic n co
  15. Yep, the euro sport commentators said the same thing, except they said years great to see him attack, hopefully we see some more now and the next few months
  16. Valverde after his stage win yesterday: I'm super happy to win at 41. First of all I have to thank my team who have worked incredibly all week. For the final part, Superman Lopez said to me 'shall I pull', and I said 'Okay'. To be honest I have to thank him because he did an incredible job” Graceful and ever the professional
  17. His name is much nicer than the silly looking time trail helmets that EF used in the critérium du dauphiné individual time trail
  18. ???? Winter ❄️ is coming
  19. Exactly Thing is, is quieter better, do you bite your tongue and shaddup or do you argue when you feel its deserved? Admittedly i fall into the latter group, however i honestly do try not to not push things to far and within the hub rules. You can sail in a ship by yourself, Take a nap or a nip by yourself. You can get into debt on your own. There are lots of things that you can do alone. (But it) Takes two to tango
  20. Panic stations.... for some Panik wegen Hammerhaien an Strand in Florida - 20 Minuten
  21. You might want to point it out the window for a better view Good luck
  22. Chris Froome: I'm not going to win the Tour de France this year | Cyclingnews "No, no, no, no, no. I'm not talking about winning the Tour de France in a few weeks' time, that's for sure," Froome said at the start of stage 5 on Thursday. "I'm very much focused on just returning back to my former level and taking one step at a time. I don't go from this level to winning the Tour de France in a few weeks." "I know where I've come from. I know that a year ago I was on a bike racing before I could even walk properly again. So just to be here in the Dauphiné, walking properly and having no issues and being in the race is great progress already. "I’m looking at those measurements myself. I know other people don’t see those measurements, because they don’t see everything else behind the scenes." While Froome admits he won’t be racing for the yellow jersey when the Tour begins on July 26, there are doubts whether he’ll be on the start line at all. Earlier this week, Israel Start-Up Nation director Rik Verbrugghe told Belgian newspaper La Dernière Heure that the four-time winner was not guaranteed a spot in the team’s eight-man line-up. "He is a huge champion for whom I have a lot of respect, but his participation in the Tour de France is by no means self-evident," Verbrugge said. "I expect there will be some clarity during this Dauphiné. He has made constant progress since the start of the season, but we would have liked his progress to be more exponential."
  23. Limit or outright ban these topics / discussions / threads and there will be less bickering and moderation required....simple rule of life. There should be no need to introduce a blanket ban on non cycling related threads, there are quite a few of these already in existence that do not need any moderation. Poor or lack of moderation has allowed the bickering and fighting threads to get out of hand, and then they get locked long after the horse has bolted or the low blows thrown.
  24. Anyone looking at doing the Tour de Suisse on rouvy? RACES | ROUVY
  25. I'm so envious of your bike park in that it is dirt.. we have one close by that is tar...every time i try go ride there its over crowded with skaters (scooters and skate boarders) making it very difficult to ride
