Where did the cancel button go, when writing a reply post and deciding to not post it?

The guys driving these cars are experts at multitasking ???? ive watched a few races here in Europe and it’s scary watching them navigate the narrow twisty roads often with one hand on the wheel leaving the other hand free for other duties..... the cars are loaded up full have tv screens, radios, all the bikes and wheels on the roof, riders food and drinks, mechanics and more..... not for the faint hearted. Maybe John Wakefield could post a few pics or give us first hand experiences ????

Agreed i think tourism plays a role, the races are advertising for the regions and in some cases the opposite where the traffic authorities try keep the route restricted to minor roads, both cases result in less than safe routes which the UCI probably turn a blind eye to....

Finally found some Lake MTB shoes in my size and colour locally. Initial feelings wearing them (not riding) they feel comfortable, hoping they will be a bit more comfortable for my toes compared to my current shoes.

European towns and their roads are full of traffic “calming” and pedestrian “islands” which are not suitable for high speed pelotons They need to come up with a better way to warn riders in the peloton, the marshals with whistles is a good way but perhaps they need to have 2 marshals, one blows the whistle the whole time and the other waves the flag, at every piece of street furniture not just a select few.

I bought a bulk load of 32GI products in 2014.... the gels were all consumed before they expired but I still have tubs of powder and those tablet tubes which expired in 2015 and 2016 left ( I don’t ride far enough often enough to justify energy supple????????ments ) Lately I’ve been doing some hard hill TT efforts and started using the race and endure tabs (expiry April 2016) during and after, they still taste and look fine and no negative side effects. sorry I know it’s not the same as gels, but as someone mentioned earlier if they are sealed and not exhibiting any “puffing up” they should be ok. To be safe you could just try a small amount and wait and see the effects ????

The bike might be the same but its a new team for him and his whole team set up (engineers, mechanics) have changed, at that level it makes a difference. Unfortunately age and time are not on his side, VR has won everything there is (all the different classes going right back to 125cc 2 stroke up to the current motogp versions, but nobody can expect to continue like that forever That being said, i think they will improve the bike and setup and we could see him edging towards the top 10
