  5. had brilliant service from garmin. my edge 305 heart rate was not working so took it in to them (Durban) while here on holiday on thursday last week. they said they would look at it. on friday I got a call from them saying that it was a software problem and they took all my details down incl the address for the B&B im staying at. this morning at 11am there was someone delivering me a brand new one with all accessories. owed them nothing. was very happy with the service. so thank you Garmin
  6. what price the tires going for?
  7. I agree. The coverage was very bad. Although cycling is not a 'major' sport (eg. soccer, rugby, cricket), there are many many people who participate and who would watch the event live, or a proper re-run. For such a big international event there should be better coverage.
  8. trust me, you dont want to have the tips of all your fingeres grazed off or nails ripping out when you crash. . . .it hurts!! so go FFwheelz2009-06-19 04:17:52
  9. what type of riding you want to do, ie. time, speed, distance?
  10. also did the 9-5 yesterday. was a very muddy race. at the end of every 2nd lap I quikly washed off the chain, cassette and derallas. lubed them all with squirt. and was on my way again. had no problems at all. not even with shifting. on long races where you cant stop after a lap I just spray it all with my water bottle then add squirt.
  11. i take it you like good legs badgirl?!

  16. so you dont like single track at all? Singletrack makes mtbiking the best, no matter when or where it is.
  17. Iv got Crossmarks (back wheel) and Specialized Captin (front wheel) on my training wheels. a good all round combo but a little slow. Got Kenda Small Block8 (back wheel) and Racing Ralph (front wheel) on my racing wheels. very fast good cornering but not good for very steap wet climbing wheelz2009-06-07 23:10:52
