  1. Usually can come and go freely. Last year all the prisoners visitors were arriving during the race, which I have never experienced to be an issue as it is handled extremely well but one of the reasons for the day change this year. As long as it is the same as previous years she should be able to leave and then return.
  2. If you going with the goal of a big result then the assumption would be you would be doing it on very good form and on this assumption a tri bike will make you faster.
  3. It is a toughie - I would say the max is far mentally tougher than the 70.3. Very few spectators on the run course, flat and windy bike, and a pretty competitive field. Also very hot - remember it hitting 35 degrees on the run 2 years ago. The shorter one overlaps the max in time and routes and looks a vibe (have yet to do the short one) Awesome race, very well organised and great routes. Going to be a goodie!!
  4. Awesome - thanks for the heads up!
  5. Does anyone know if this will this be shown on DSTV today?
  6. So - to add on from this tip.... Often you hear stories of peoples seat posts slipping or they hit a bump and it dropped... Wrap said installation tape around the base of your seatpost, flush with the clamp. If you do a few loops this often takes the pressure off the clamp when you hit a bump and will prevent your seat post from slipping. Often seen it is a little pressed at bottom but gone no further.
  7. Tip - keep some extra insallation tape taped around your seatpost. If you puncture more than once or don't have a tube on you, you can wrap this around the hole of the tube and finnish the bike leg with it. Holds as good as any patch in my experience Comes in as a great make-shift puncture repair kit
  8. Rode it today - the road is pretty good actually, can ride it on the road bike no problem. The officials there had no problem with cyclists riding it Enjoy - no cars on it is epic.
  9. This lady is doing massive things for SA cycling - good work!
  10. What do you mean "on 3 mins"? So you swimming 1.30 100s and resting 30 seconds? Or swimming 1.15 100s and resting 30 seconds?
  11. Is this the same bike theft as posted on the weekend or were there two in Stellies on the day?? I think I saw the other was at 2.30?
  12. Ok great! Handy to know! Appreciate the info, thanks!
  13. Awesome!! Thanks a mill! Unbelievably sweet frame! Took 7 days from ordering till delivered to my door.
  14. Sorry, I bought an FR-216 but not sure what seatpost size it is. When I measure it almost looks 32mm....
