  1. Everything cash. If I can't then I don't. Going through my invoices a while back was scary - all those little purchases add up. My recently acquired wife would kick my ass if she knew how much I spend, but I just make sure its black in colour like the old stuff, she doesn't notice a thing Now just to start using what I bought properly.
  2. And And they charge extra for the same thing - Active Bibs R600 vs R699 from them.
  3. Or just phone those mofos at the bicycle company and ask them who stocks their stuff.
  4. Used that stuff too, been using the Boeshield stuff which works awesome, as well as the Blue Rock'n'roll stuff. Solomons sells both for just over a 100 bucks. Chain-L is great too but I find that too much crap sticks to the chain when I use that.
  5. Where are those Dial Direct pothole guys when you need them?
  6. Well hopefully companies like Dischem and the rest don't follow suit and start making these kids products as well. But I have a suspicion that this will do well, easier for the parent to 'think' they're doing good for their kids rather than providing them a balanced diet - the easier option always wins. I don't have kids yet, maybe I should stock up on this crap before the dollar goes up again - probably enough preservatives in there to keep it 'fresh' for a few years.
  7. Ordered from CRC via DHL on Sunday, got it this morning....awesome.
  8. ODI make short ones for gripshifts.
  9. Wow, I really hope this project materialises.
  10. Saw that video a while back, pretty cool design. But I wonder if its cheaper than building a steel frame?
  11. I have the x-king protection on the rear, and an old folding Rocket Ron on the front - must be around 2yrs old now. Never seen a puncture, maybe I don't ride as much as the rest of you
  12. Also depends what tires you're using doesn't it? I also haven't had any noticeable holes in my tires since I started using tubeless.
  13. They are awesome, well if you know what you want. I buy most items from there. And if they don't stock or have something, Aghtar always tries to make a plan to get it for me.
  14. So hopefully you never run out of warranty - especially since you replacing frames every couple of months
  15. Wow thats a great story!
  16. Here you go: SOUTH AFRICA HULLABALOO Phone: 012 660 0016 website: www.hullabaloo.co.za
  17. Wasn't the replaceable type. But the nice guys at Scott decided to create one. You have to cut off the old one though and drill holes for the new one. Works 100%, did a ride this morning after the rebuild. Just need to replace the cables now, waiting for order from CRC
  18. It actually comes with Syncros rims with Shimano and Scott hubs, for around 18k looks like a decent deal considering XT/SLX components and the Fox CTD fork. Though if I was to be buying a new bike around that price range I would put in a bit more and opt for the Silverback Syncra, very pretty. Or like the other dude said, the Scott Scale 930 or 920 - depending on your preference for SRAM or Shimano.
  19. Seen it for Mavic stuff, but I don't care, the suppliers don't even bring in any of their apparel but we can't order. Use mail forwarding services - not sure if thats available in the UK though. But plenty stores in the states...
  20. Screwed up my dropout on my 2006 Scott Scale Carbon frame. Had to replace the cassette, chain, derailleur etc. so just upgraded to 10 spd.
  21. Fork you!
  22. They are in JHB, Jan Smuts Ave. Asked them for a clamp last week, they sent me to this site: http://www.bikebits.co.za/store/Catalog.aspx?cid=803 They have plenty headsets
  23. Omnico are in CPT as well. So basically if Omnico do have the stock of that shock, it comes down to either pissing off a customer vs. making less profit. Decisions decisions...
  24. Lezyne Lezyne Lezyne. The only way to go. http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/tools/cycling-tools/mini-pump/product/review-lezyne-pressure-drive-pump-11-45358 one of them - they all get good reviews.
  25. Well CRC only have the goodridge kit, not the jagwire.
