Just ignore the mercs as if they are in a different category and its quite an interesting race for 3rd place. Lets hope that Monaco throws up some changes. Wet race anyone? The guys I ride with ride the same bikes until they fall apart. Then scour the hub for another old 26er for cheap and keep going. I currently have 3 really cool bikes, a morewood izimu , kona coiler and azonic steelhead that all together cost me under 20k

I am going to cut back the weeds on the corners on the snake trails on friday. its getting ridiculois when you cant even see the corners, nevermind rail the berms cos the bush hooks your bars. and those little rock gardens are getting super tech. almost dh track stuff....

someone needs to trim the bush, so to speak. One can hardly get the round some of the corners without sticking a handlebar into some or other alien shrubbery. If it gets left like it is by spring the whole trail will have dissapeard

If Dirt magazine was available locally I would buy it every month, its waaaaay better than any other mag, and focuses mainly on dh, enduro etc. Buy tread every now and then but only if it has something in it worth reading. Im not interested in marathon racing or xc 29ers.

So the question is, did the shop sell the bike as the real thing when it was in fact a fake? If so then the OP is correct in taking legal action.If however he was told that it was not a genuine Pina but a copy, replica, fake then he has no recourse. However it is still illegal to sell fake / counterfeit goods. And ASG seem to have confirmed that it is indeed a fake. So the shop doesn't seem to have a case at all.

I think you are all missing the point. Its illegal to sell fake products, whether the buyer is aware of it or not. Selling a fake Pina is a crime and the shop should be dealt with accordingly. Unfortunately for the OP buying fakes is also a crime so he might not legally be entitled to his money back as far as I know.
