I must admit, waking up yesterday morning the weather looked like it was not going to play along..... and I was ready to get back into bed. . . luckily I managed to get myself out of bed and arrived just in time. What an awesome ride and lovely day it turned out to be - with a stop for coffee and the House of Coffees in Harties. A nice easy ride allowed for some chit chat and catching up . . . Getting into the pool - a perfect way to cool down after a ride and braaivleis - what more do you want . . ? Thank you to one and all for making it a wonderful day and especially to Bateleur and his Mrs for providing the venue.

i really hope these will solve some of the traffic problems between Pta and Jhb. the word "frustration" does not begin to describe what one feel commuting between these cities. imo : a frustrated driver is just as bad as a drunk driver. sometimes even worse.

and isn't it funny that these guys sometimes are a lot more happy than the guys riding their very expensive limited edition 60k+ bikes. eish.

was told that loss of electrolyte - through sweat - could cause cramps. so these days i drink rehidrate to replace the electrolyte and that works for me.

awesome , awesome awesome was the ride. everything so beautiful and green after the rain - the kind of stuff that feeds your soul. . . . there is just something about being in nature on a day like today. and all this a mere hour's drive from the city ... awesome. nancy, as mentioned before, the coffee, the muffins, the bannanas, the hot cross buns, the cooldrinks, the parking the pooool ......... thank you!!! you set the bar high. looking forward to some more rides there in December . can't wait.

my apologies if I'm missing something .... it has been a looooonnng week ... calabash , i went to your website to try and find out the where / what / how of this planned ride. clicking on the link for Dinokeng Nature Reserve i ended up on www.webapps.co.za . sorry that did not look right to me ... so now i still do not know the what / where / how and so on .....
