  1. that's fine. i will go and see and hopefully not get conquered.
  2. i came close to a few cows at the crater cruise and they were looking fairly harmless. but thank you for the heads-up.
  3. settled then. i will enter for this one. i just do not like snakes! and never have been a fan of crocs. hey, what cows are we talking about here??
  4. so, I'm looking to do the one in Dec. What level of skill would this race require??
  5. hey, very beautiful bike. so laat weet maar wanneer ons NF toe gaan. enjoy!!!!
  6. i don't think packaging is the problem. whasp does stand out. that's why i tried it in the place. price wise: maybe not the cheapest, and yet there are others that's way more expensive.
  7. you can count me in. really enjoyed it the last time.
  8. I used whasp gel for the first time at last year's Bakwena and ever since I'm a fan. It's easy to swollow and it does give that extra energy boost when I need it. I must admit I have not tried all the flavours as I mainly use the one for "woman only". Crazy berry flavour is my other favourite.
  9. get well soon.
  10. i think is great idea. will go a long way to keep some children off the streets. and maybe, with the initial costs paid for , will the entry fee be lowered. but with Groenkloof just 10km from where i live - it's a case of local is lekker .... Zoo Cookie2008-10-27 12:03:51
  11. just before the hekpoort climb, i caught up with some of the riders from the 85km. all of a sudden i could hear a bakkie just behind me. he stayed there for some time and I could not understand why he would not pass. as we were making our way up Hekpoort did I realise it was a very concerned father following his 15 or 16 year old son - doing the 85km. the son past me and so did the dad - traffic backed up behind him as he insisted to ride next to his son. not sure if the father did not realise what he was doing of if he knew and just didn't care. i later went past the son and then thanks to the father not to much traffic to contend with as i had to doge the riders swerving all over as they struggled to get up hekpoort.
  12. Zoo' date=' what time are you starting? [/quote'] 7:15. not to early and not to late - just right.
  13. also my second 94.7. last year = 3:58 so anything better than that would be allright with me. better seeding than last year - so that should help.
  14. also done a few spinning classes at P F in Hennops Park, Centurion. 3 or 4 very good instructors- that know how to give you a good workout. but there are 1 or 2 that confuse their aerobics and spinning - that I did not enjoy.
  15. i more than likely will have to make an effort to watch this historical event somewhere.
  16. hey that looks like fun. nice!
  17. "Wow" from Kylie M , i likes a lot.
