  1. Healing vibes from Zululand Barry. Keep fighting!
  2. K - Keep T - Throwing M - Money
  3. A new day... Hang in there Barry, fight hard! You are in everyone's thoughts! Healing vibes to you!
  4. Unless the ship is full astern! Therefore the use of steaming lights on the fo'c's'le and bridge is needed to make an accurate assessment of travel
  5. Yes, in simple terms, however, in nautical terms the use of left and right will only get you in trouble and it is thus taught as quoted above. PS: Ships were there well before airies
  6. I must correct you dear fellow; port side is the side of a ship where the red light burns, it is a fixed point like the bow, stern and starboard side (where the green light burns) and should never be confused with left and right. Example, when standing on the ships bow with your right shoulder facing to the ships stern, where is left and right now? Apologies for being pedantic on a Monday
  7. Hey Barry, healing vibes to you! Terrible news, hope someone is looking after his pack! He'll be further devastated if the dogs suffer.
  8. Like they say..."men and ships, rot in port"!

  11. Minor Hi-jack Hi Gents, I'm in need of Fenix 2 silicone/rubber replacement strap, any colour as I'm not fashion conscious at all? Where may I source one or perhaps one of you fine gents might have one for sale? hi-jack off
  12. Good thing the last 6 postings were read without food or coffee in the mouth
  13. Man I loved last week when JuJu tore her a new one, it was fantastic!
  14. Made these for a young lady getting married on the weekend, she wanted lumberjack rustic...both discs are e.grandis, inlay bowties are probably Rhodesian teak, ex sleeper wood, pine bark tacked on big disc. Big disc with bark is a cake stand, the decorative disk is a knife board next to the cake stand.
  15. That's no good!
  16. Even worse is the wannabe muscle car wankers with no real money buying the paltry 2.5l version. Talk about kissing your ugly cousin with a vrot tand
  17. Nice explanation. I have run in Asics, and thankfully don't suffer the type of pronation you do. I specifically run in the ultra distance variants of New Balance, due to my weight and for the fact that I have a heel strike of note. I have improved this by changing my running posture to nearly upright. The NB's just supports me so much better and the knee pain is never an issue. Secretly I would love to run in Asics, hopefully within this year my weight drops below the 85kg mark so I can reward myself with a pair that fits my fat right foot
  18. The correct name for that frog is actually, wait for it...Hairy Frog, I s h I t you not!
  19. Its a strange, strange world you live in FKA
  20. Gents, while on the subject of model airies, any good online shop that can be recommended locally? Alternatively elsewhere? Thanks
  21. I said it before, I love your stuff and this Maloof style bed, pure class!
  22. As above - all true, Sawmilling operations are always wet operations for a reason 1. Tool durability goes out the window on dry material (that specific tree in the picture is probably in excess of 50 years old and rock hard) 2. Drying needs to happen in plank form when placed in stacks so the results are consistent to the species. Yes, you can process dry, but a blue gum tree is not worth the effort. Collect the wood, chop for braai or pizza oven
  23. I'm starting to think of Orcas as the honey badgers of the see
  24. Shot for the sunshine Hairy!
  25. Interesting comment about the NB shoes. I find them the only brand that fits my wide foot (right foot somewhat wider than lefty) and also gives me room when the hoofs start swelling on hot days. I personally cant fit Adi's, Nike's/Sauc or any of the other good running shoes. My NB Leadville 100's have given me great service the past two years. just goes to show how different we are.
