  1. What ratio are you guys using tomorrow to SS? Rouxtjie: 32x18 Me: 32x18 anyone else on SS?
  2. Thanks for the advice Droo, I'll pop off that top cap later today and have a look....
  3. Divernick: B
  4. Would you be able to say from this schematic which part is in wrong?
  5. Hey thanks for the offer but I'm in Joburg. I was thinking that something may have gone back in the wrong order. There is normal stanchion showing but only 45-50mm travel possible. It does bottom out quite hard.....
  6. The Manitou Tower only uses air for preload, It has a coil spring for the actual "suspension". For my weight I only need to put in 0.3 - 1.0 bar pressure for preload....
  7. I have noticed lately that I only have 50mm travel (on my 100mm-travel fork). I have had the fork at the LBS twice in the last 6 months to clean and lube the seals and wipers. Could something have one back in the wrong way around causing the fork to only compress 45-50mm? The fork is running butter-smooth and the rebound and lockout adjustments work fine.... Does anyone have any ideas?
  8. Hence the "negotiation"
  9. I'm in C for the Marathon. Let's hope some negotiation works in my favour.....
  10. All done. Old cassette and new chain don't like one another, so she'll revert to SS duty soon.
  11. So the race: good route, well marked and put together. It was a good workout. My ave HR was 170bpm. Total time was 2:16. Wasted 8 min plugging a puncture. The start venue could have been more geared for spectators though. My wife and 2-year old were bored to tears.
  12. He came right thanks
  13. Anyone have an entry for sale?
  14. Impressive race pack.
  15. Thanks Greg. I don't have a Cape drop off point at the moment. Can anyone else assist in bringing stuff up to Joburg?
  16. Still on the cards, but not much joy there....
  17. Many thanks go to Dean for donating the bike, frame and parts on the weekend!
  18. Ai toggie, Oh well, it might be a 1h30min sprint, or a really fun ride. Still good to have a race-pace ride a week before the VG Trailseeker. Now that's gonna be a proper MTB race. ASG, I hope you don't disappoint those of us wanting a real MTB race!!!!!!
  19. Wow. Especially considering my suspended Inbred weighs 12.5kg....
