  1. had an issue where i could not shift my left shifter with my 105. a small plastic part had fallen out. had it 3D printed and all is well again
  2. its to add to crap sealant that does not work instead of buying decent sealant in the first place. #orangesealforthewin
  3. yep. i cannot deactivate ads
  4. Truecaller has the number come up as "Bloem King"
  5. can confirm turning off always on increases battery life from 5 to 12 days on the Epix
  6. EPIX vs 7S Solar. So after spending some time with the base 7S Solar unit and then base Epix Gen 2 unit these are my thoughts. Both are brilliant. There are only 2 major differences worth noting is the screen and battery life. The Epix is hands down a nicer screen. And the Fenix hands down wins on battery. Some detail: The Epix with HR enabled, screen up to 100% and gesture enabled (the screen stays on all the time but goes brighter when turned to look at it) give me a 5 day battery life. The smaller Fenix 7S by comparison gave me 11 days. and this is the smallest version! very impressive. The screen is chalk and cheese, the Epix is so much nicer! that said... The best analogy i can think of is when buying a new TV. In the store you have the two TV's sitting side by side. One tv you can afford, the other you cannot (costs aside on this one). The difference in display quality and brightness while the two TV's are sitting side by side is clear for everyone to see. BUT when you take the "dull" affordable TV home and there is nothing to compare it to, it looks totally acceptable and you quickly forget about how lovely the brighter, sharper TV looked. The owner of the Fenix 7 when sitting next to his mate who has the Epix is going to have screen enve for certain. The owner of the Epix in the same breathe would also be a little miffed he has to charge his watch more than twice as often as the equivalent Fenix unit. If you are anything like me; i hate not having my watch on my wrist 24/7 - charging the unit a pain. During charging i lose out on recording all that important data that i never look at it. 🤪 Looks: SCREENS ASIDE: Overall i'd say i prefer the physical look of the Epix. I did not think i would as the online pictures make the silver finish look a bit sub par - that said the grey with steel finish in real life really makes the watch look properly upper class when compared to the black Fenix versions - it really could pass as a dress watch.

i'm keeping mine. DSTV coverage is rubbish at best.
  8. Also have 1x Epix Gen 2 in stock.
  9. New stock of 7x Sapphire Power Solar just landed 😎 Pm me for pricing
  10. have not had this issue. have 3 different garmin devices and a S21. nothing like that has happened.
  11. got an article in my newsfeed today stating not a single rider in the mens pro-peloton was caught doping in 2021... not sure if thats good news or bad news...
  12. is the 7 going to make any fundamental difference over the 5/6 fenix units - No. is it a much much nicer unit to live with an operate on a daily basis. absolutely, it is worth the Epizeuxis. (ha made you google) also this is a pretty big step up. i'd say the nex Fenix will only come 2 years from now...
  13. next game changer is being able to change watch and activity settings via the phone. previously this had to be done on the phone. - i am not 100% certain, but this sounds like something that could be pushed out to older units with a firmware update?
  14. Lol - i am busy playing with a Fenix 7S unit i ordered for myself. initial impressions are fantastic. i was a bit uncertain of the red button guard from pictures - but in real life its rather sexy. the touch screen is a total game changer - it makes navigating the watch a total breeze compared to using buttons. This alone is enough of a reason to upgrade in my opinion. its night and day better. like when phones first when to touch screens - made the buttons totally obsolete
  15. and it should arrive with you later today
  16. have sent you a PM
  17. Multi band is a is a big feature to be fair. but in reality - i doubt it will make any discernible difference to 99.9% of us. It saps battery power big time - so what more important: going longer between charges? or having your GPS lock on slightly faster and be 0.5m more accurate when riding past a large vertical obstacle like a building or rock face. I think this tech has go to the point where its good enough - maybe not perfect. but the gains accuracy really add so little value its not worth the outlay. As for memory, how often do you really really use maps outside your territory? - its not that hard to load up the correct maps before hand on the off chance you travel outside of Africa for a week in a year. that said, if you have the money and it makes sense to you and your circumstances - go for it. The Sapphire glass is a really nice feature. that glass is so tough its the body surrounding the glass that starts looking tatty first!
  18. if you compare the pricing right now on the 6 vs the 7 the 6 is already comparatively quite a lot cheaper. i would not expect any additional drop in price
  19. New size 56 just landed with the latest Ultegra 12s di2 - which in **** hot 🔥 For a closer look at the 56 with its Ultegra hit up BSC is Fourways - JHB. Also available is a 52 and 54 with Force AXS 12s groupsets. 54 has plenty of interest surrounding it. It is scheduled to be delivered to our CT brand Ambassador during the course of this week. 52 is available and is my personal demo bike (awesomeness!) - Keep an eye out in the cradle on Saturday and Sunday mornings
  20. It is silly expensive. ...and worth every cent! - at least for their bibs. Cannot comment on their tops...
  21. another option is Pedal and Sprocket - good food and coffee.
  22. so bleak about that. but only having one productive day a week must be tough. and thats more a 1 productive morning. the new places coffee is not up to the same standard sadly
  23. i have the Hammerhead Karoo 2 and its a Garmin Killer of a device. around R7500 landed bought directly from the webpage. 2 years warranty vs Garmins 1 year. Better screen Constant tangible software updates. Ability to side load apps, Apple music, Spotify, Zwift Companion and Zwift itself, the list goes on. Battery life is not as good - but lasts 2x 4 hour rides on my weekend. so its good enough. i'm a real fan so far
  24. i've heard rumour - end Jan
  25. Keep in mind the buttons are still there and you can set to have the touch screen disable in activities. so for day to day activities = touch screen awesomeness for riding in rain = disable touch and revert back to the usual buttons its the best of both worlds
