so how many thousands of members do we have on the hub? imagine how diverse this community is in terms of cultures, believes, moral standards and what not, if we try and police this thing to a point where nobody is ever offended we just wont be able to have any normal conversation. most reasonable people who ends up at a party or something where they do not HAVE to be, will leave if the conduct of others get to a point of offending them , rather than force a bahaviour thats suits. so why not here? if i cant deal with the level of conversation here i will simply move on, right now i stick around because - on balance i am okay with what is said/discussed - on balance the conversation adds value to what i want to know about cycling - on balance the moderators do their job okay, i am not sure its practical to expect 100% consistency

Sad reality is this, wherever you go or are, there will be the troublemakers and the people with lack of perspective or whatever, it not just the hub. Ones just gotto deal with this, as far as i am concerned, when somebody is looking for conflict the best defence is to ignore them, their attention span is anyway so short they wont keep interest for too long. I really enjoy the hub, get a lot of information here, i just dont allow idiots to wind me up. Lekker dag!

Well i nearly bougt the fsa crank advertised a few days back but the crank arms turned out to be 175 not 172.5 as advertised. New one cost too much so i am watching classifieds and lbs to qoute on specialised carbon crank which actually loos very good

specialised saddles work the best, and believe me i have a garage full of saddles. even the mens at 155cm (they have diffirent sizes). find a specialised retailer who will have some trail saddles. i have been riding on 155cm avatar saddles many years they are quite comfy but they also have a couple of ladies specific ones

fact is despite the spruit fairy working hard (and effort appreciated here) the spruit and parks are not cycling parks, they are public parks. It is sad that some cyclist just dont have the intellectual capacity to get it, and carry on as if the whole spruit and parks is build just for cycling, and then one gets the tjop who even think this is where he needs to race, not realising many beginner cyclist use the spruit. Having said this, most cyclist are decent and nice, it was quite nice taking a beginner out and i could tell her most cyclist will find their way around her, especially if she tels them she does not have a "licence", but helaas there was the two occasions where guys tries to just blast her out the way. we must erradicate these idiots along with the litterbugs.

I agree it is so unnecessary to litter the idiots should be exposed in every way possible, i have also tried to take up with offenders as it happens but the aggression directed every time actually leaves me intimidated to chut up and raise later
