  1. not close to the politics here but maybe you must accept these blokes from the club just dont want to make friends with you anymore, perhaps youre just too much admin going on and on and on, seesh its time to get on your bike and live life
  2. dont worrie there was a while where i got several punctures on the idt and the bike has never been outside.....and i have also fallen off the trainer once or twice, sigh..
  3. you need the polar software for your PC
  4. thanks i will stick to what i have then
  5. so i have a 12 and 26 or 27 not sure but on the argus got dropped on the downhill, are you saying i can swop the 12 for 11 without having to change the whole casette?
  6. have to agree here
  7. I am looking at the scott spark 900' see they come with syncros wheels, i cant find much info or reviews anybody with some comments on them?
  8. Thought this was going to be another post of NW selling stolen stuff and was ready to support but now how do you happily deal with him knowing his lack of ethics and then wait till the last minute before trying to negotiate some leeway, comon!
  9. Yep the issue is not the antibiotics but the fact that by not resting you dont give your body chance to fight the infection. With all that antibiotics yove probbly build up some resistance to it anyway so will be less effective, try snd work through it with rest and symptomatic treatment, more "durable" recovery
  10. many would disagree with you, there are bad spots not to be ridden alone but the spruit is great
  11. Sjoe very nice, is it the g5?
  12. Looking for good reliable all rounder, made piece with the cost. Clinchers definately. Initially raleigh frame until i upgrade havent looked much at frames but like BH. I know with 303 some frames can be too narrow
  13. New to the aero wheel story, think the above more or less same price give or take a k or so. Have been using hubbys corimas for a while but would like some views on how they compare to zipp which seems to be a more widely used wheel. Also views on303 vs 404
  14. riding mine since 2006 many many km's changed chainrings few times was quite pricy, BB think one can use others i have a dura ace (yep....) on mine currently. great crank, carbon looks a bit tired with all the beatings but works 100%
  15. Thanks did not know that
  16. Not sure one get pools thats not chlorinated, and if so i think the risks are more, think about all the pee and other gunk getting into the water and with public facilities whose germs are you sharing?
  17. So nice i have the 26 inch and was seriously looking at the 29 er until i realised you cant fit a water bottle cage in the frame, sucks
  18. So you reckon tts4 worthwhile to buy. Not sure if you have some of the very old videos but i am scared they wont work on the new
  19. Have TTS3 and frankly tacx software is a nightmare to get to proper working condition. tacx has a forum on their website generally you will find somebody who had similar issues and how after trail and error they managed to fix, so go and scratch there. otherwise email support they are generally quite helpfull, they will send you a diagnostic tool to download which can pinpoint the issue to them.
  20. Sigh, lack of common sense that makes compliance in so many areas non relevant now adays. If the fun rider plonker now finds him or herself in this not so impossible but improbable situation then test his or her pee to hearts desire and if any stuff is detected kick him or her off the podium
  21. Agree here, many of us just want to ride our bikes, for fun and to stay in shape, we enter races for road closue or access to proper trails and the social element, why must we now suddenly go and scrutinise everything we put in our mouths, i agree if cycling is your profession or you ride compeditively you should carry that burden, just like i need to carry the burden of applying best practise and standards wrt my profession. Sensible approach would be test pro and elite leave open seeded out of it
  22. Will keep this post. Donno why polar cant just build an easy application for this, youre right ive asked they just say no
  23. When engaged it avoids chain slap and also chain less likely to drop. You disengage when removing the wheel
  24. 80/20 approach if you try too perfect it falls apart. Stock uour fridge with easy to make stuff, ostrich filket, grilled salmon, chicken breasts, veggies, sweet potatoe, pumpkin ( not butternut) cottage cheese, fat free yogurts and fruit, eat as little fat and mostly good fats like avo, balance carbs and proteins i.e if you have 30 g carb have 30 g protein, if you track on myfitnesspal easy to work out. Eat five or six small meals. Avoid starchy foods at night. Dont eat too little thats a big danger. Make it a lifestyle
