  2. LOL! Maybe ask Lance, rumour has it that he will be doing the Epic in 2011.
  3. Seems cool for the road bike, but prefer Rock n Roll Extreme for my MTB for muddy terrains , will do some more testing when it is dry and dusty.
  4. I have the front and rear Flea, they work great. very bright and the usb charging is very convenient. Combine it with a ravx at the back of your helmet.
  5. Pay via Paypal it is cheaper than a normal International Credit Card Transaction.

  12. Brighterlights had a review on one of these frames a year or so ago. He seemed quite happy with his frame at the time.
  13. The Homemark inflatable single bed costs something like R180 for delivery if I remember correctly. You can buy a new one for about R100 from the outdoor shops. PS You cannot pick it up at the homemark stores. They basically give to you for free by raping you with the delivery charge.
  14. normal Road or Race, 1 tube, 1 pump (95g) and patches, 2 tyre levers. Small multi-tool. Argus : Vittoria slime and co2 in 1. Inflates co2 and slime. I've you get a flat it is game over in a road race, so why wast a co2 canister in a normal race. 80grams extra weight per CO2 cannister. MTB race : 2 bombs, pump, 1 tube, 2 tyre levers, Sram powerlink, Crankbro multi-tool with Chainbreaker. tubless repair kit, patches. Running UST tyres, need a bomb to inflate when putting a plug into the tyre. Don't take chanches, don't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere.knersis2010-01-29 04:46:16
  15. See you in C.
  16. Happend to me a couple of times, you just phone 0860111502, get the local tracking number, phone Capemail, get the email address of the clearing agent. Send through proof of purchase from your bank statement and Paypal / CRC Invoice and they clear the goods. Done this at least 3 times. No Problems, no extra fees knersis2010-01-18 07:09:31
  17. alot of ROCKSHOX 100mm forks you can just add a spacer and it will make it 80mm. Some 80mm might even have these in already so if you remove it it will be a 100mm.
  18. I would take the R3000 and upgrade the fork to an airshock (Rockshox Recon race / any Reba or Fox) 100mm and go for a bike setup. Cannot buy anything decent for R3000.
  19. Or an option to report as SPAM --> send mail to admins --> Admins approves --> post gone.knersis2010-01-08 08:34:50
  20. One for the tyre Guru's Which tyre is better for a tubeless converasion? Obviously LUST (UST) is best but they cost & weigh much more. From what I have gathered 62A - rubber is softer, better grip, lighter 70A - rubber has more plastic, harder, better rolling resistance, last longer, less grip than 62A Crossmark 2.1 Kevlar 70a: average weight 569g Crossmark 2.1 Kevlar 120tpi 62a eXC: average weight 479g Monorail 2.1 Kevlar 70a: average weight 559g Monorail 2.1 Kevlar 120tpi 62A eXC: average weight 502g
  21. We order 36 pairs for 3 DC teams with 36 Anatomic shirts, not sure what volume you are buying.
  22. 100miler is crap in my opinion. to big, like wearing a nappy, 6 of the guys in my DC road with them and no-one was happy the other 6 road with the Anatomic Ergo padding, we paid R450 ex vat for the Bibs with ergo padding, not sure who charges R1000 for the 100 miler shorts, but they are ripping you off as they were R150 rand cheaper than the Ergo if I remember correctly.
  23. Hi Crow, thanks for the sound advice. Will stick the 100mm, no stripping of the fork to remove the spacer. I already have a low rise bars (monkey light) on both my bikes. I've had the following bikes, Trance (2005), NRS (training bike); Opus Phast Hardtail (training bike), Anthem 1 (2008);Anthem X(2009). Still have the Anthem 1 (training bike) and Anthem X (racing bike). So the Fox will go to the Anthem 1 (just sold the old Reba SL fork) and The Reba Race to the Anthem X. The NRS frame broke luckily my insured paid out for a Anthem X frame.
  24. Cool, will most probably fit the Reba. Had a Reba SL (2006) before and and performance wise it was on par with the Fox, Apparantly they did a major upgrade in 2008, so the 2009 Reba will probably be better than the 2007 Fox. Still need to decide on 100mm / 120mm.
