I've had more or less the same story, also Jack Russell. Ran out the gate as me and my dad were riding past, fortunately enough he ran into my rear wheel and caused my speed wobble which I recovered from easily. When I looked back the dog looked disorientated and limping back to the house, on my way back I talked to the owner and recommended they watch their dogs, as we use this route on a daily basis. Those dogs just love chasing fast moving objects.....incl bikes...

I have been using it for just under 2 weeks and I could say the same. Sometimes I get a horrible cramp or colic sitting on the couch!! I mean wtf? Must make sure I drink alot of water

I'm keeping my road bike as well, but will concentrate on my mtb more. I need to train!! Today I have purchased a Giant Anthem X3 for a reasonable price Trying it out tomorrow :-)

I'm picking up my first MTB tomorrow.. it's budget but it will get me around I could almost say I'm newly converted roadie to MTB !!

Hi All!! I've been wanting to get a beater MTB, I cannot at this time afford to get one for 20k My budget is more or less 8k. My question is: is it better to get a used mtb with decent components or a brand new machine with slightly lower specs? What should be the oldest frame and set up I should be looking at? 2005? 2006? Taking into consideration: that the used bike has been more or less serviced and ridden regualarly As for the new bike I'm looking at the Merida TFS 500....

I've looked at that X4 as well... what is the fundamental differences between the 2 anyway?

Thanks guys I appreciate your input... I have bought 2 small containers on promotion and I'm gonna have a look for myself. The way I think is best is that if I just add it to my carbo drink (2nd bottle out of 3) and see, I want to mainly use it for recovery and not so much for muscle gain. I'm definately not going to load on it as your kidneys take a huge strain and it crystalizes in your organs, therefore large quantites of water daily is required. thx again

Arrrrr hubbers I would like to know your views on USN 99.9% pure Creatine Monohydrate. I have purchased 2 small containers but haven't really started using. As with carbo it says you should load on it as well, 4 times a day, one table spoon. I know more or less the benefits, the disadvantages and aftermath on your kidneys. Anyone using? Experiances?
