  1. As a farmer i have come to the conclusion that my patience does not meet the minimum requirement for my occupation.... watching and waiting does not work for compulsive buyers
  2. Sale on all kit aswell as almost no sizes. seems like the closing down is soon?
  3. How is their fit Size wise vs ciovita?
  4. That went from insult to acknowledging another big dude real quick haha. Yeah cream top and cream/champagne argon18.
  5. On a side note. How did you guys get tue mud marks out of kit? Struggling to get it out of my shirt aswell as branding ons shorts.
  6. Happened 2 riders infront of me. He looked bad there but went over the line fine. Was looking for a marshal to see if he was concussed but didnt fond one. Just glad he is ok
  7. It was mailed to us?
  8. No damage. Also wont be very dusty. The bit as previously mentioned is still just very bumpy and sand in parts.
  9. Im also struggling to gauge this. What i do is to double up on mix in my bottle. Just as to not throw drink mix into my bladder to help with keeping it clean. so my mix is as follows Cadence nutrition Carbo Fuel. 2x bottle mix per bottle. 2 bottles on bike. 1.5L of water in bladder. so i try and drink 1/2 bottle fluid(1 bottle/1h worth of mix) and 350ml 1/4 of bladder per hour. That gives me 4 hours worth of nutrition and fluid I supplement that with 1x far/fast bar per hour or the new USN isogel flavourless with caffeine( It tastes JUST like the old breaktrough gels of the late 90s)
  10. according to the website, their own
  11. 32mm in saron and 46mm in porterville. was at an agri day at delsma in riebeeck yesterday and the road from hermon to deli-co was fine. will go drive the bit from the halmanshof silo to the oefen bult segment on strava this afternoon and report back
  12. That bit was scraped a week ago but the road surface is propeerly screwed. Also very sandy im certain parts
  13. What section are you referring to? We train the middel part of the 100miler weekly as i live out here
  14. Try All Mountain Co. i Dont think they have rentals but could possibly sort you out.
  15. I heard he is in property development in Clara Anna. I do miss al the old staff, Evert, that groot oom and them. The new overeager lot is either a hindrance when you just want to browse or they look from a distance as if I'm about to steal something and then when i do need assistance they magically disappeared. Thread Hijack: Who remembers when they were still up at the old location? close to the Virgin Active. back in the day when WE used to be up at the Mc Donalds.
  16. So before anyone says google or jump in.... NOT THE BLADDER, THE PACK ITSELF so i found a million online videos about for to wash and care for your bladder but next to nothing about the pack itself. For reference its a Uswe and a Evoc Hydro pro. How do you guys wash your packs?
  17. Love mine. Just hard to justify paying it again. Went for a bike fit at Spez and they even said to look at the rider bar tape for the next round. I do agree the tacky feel of the supacaz and the Lizard skins are 2nd to none. But iff i can get that feeling for cheaper that would be great
  18. local for oakley is melo velow of hallo bril in paarl
  19. The peeling lens coatings is so common that i thought its part n parcel of buying an oakley. been buying replacement lenses every 18 months or so for years now....
  20. IICE ID. Think its Mickey Mouse's wifes business. When i was in my student days i used to rock to dog tags on a chain. after that the broad rubber type and i see they make ones that slips directly onto your garmin/Apple strap now. The problem with these is that a first responded would have to actively look for this. so dont "hide" them. Im thinking in the line of those "Pro only" name decals with your blood type and medical condition underneath your name?? placed on a helmet and bike.
  21. This thread seems to answer another thread about races no longer being around. Back then you used to have a PPA race every weekend but not alot of having to chose between 2 races. Then popped up a wave of new races and participants would have to chose. i presume in the end we will see another few races die out and a few good ones be left over?
  22. SOL RX or TechniBlock. Oil based(Clearliquid) will be your best bet. Thats what i use (skin cancer prone too). hope it helps
  23. Just to add more to your confusion. I ride a Large merida 96 MTb a 54cm road a 56cm gravel with shorter stem. Although longer than my road bike it is a lot more relaxed fit than my road bike. Stem being higher and saddle to bar length almost the same. with gravel you don't want to be TO nippy. for clarification i am 1.79cm so i sit on the M/L threshold. at 1.75 i would go smack bang 54(M) and tweak the setup with stem length and bar width.
  24. Lately received a lot of lowball offers. Not even a "hi, would jou accept an offer of x amount." Just: Rxxx Nothing more. So i just started to reply with just as much disrespect/lack of sillables: NO
