  1. This is when you step it up a notch and press charges. I for one am tired of being harassed/threatened when all I did was play it safe.
  2. Gorilla tape will work for sure. I've seen people tape 5kg dumbbells to a wall with it, so it should stick (and stay stuck) to your rim. It's also pretty waterproof, so it shouldn't get soggy and lose its stick.
  3. RK is fast. XK is slightly slower but has more grip. Either way it's the front tyre that matters most. +1. Some tyres work for some, and some don't.
  4. MK and XK combo is awesome. Haven't found anything I couldn't do with them, and puncture-wise they're amazing.
  5. It most definitely will. Anything above 500'000 or so should be pretty effective (I'm guessing that the SWAT is also 2m+ )
  6. No, a grey import is when there is a distributor with exclusive import rights and you import it on your own. The Fong Kong brands (no-name Chinese, etc frames, etc) don't have any exclusive distributors here.
  7. That's 2million on the SHU (Scoville Heat Unit, aka Scoville Scale). It's much more than you want in your eyes. Normal chilli = around 1000.
  8. I know SAPS uses SWAT. Not sure about the strength about ours, but the NYPD/etc uses pepper spray that's rated at 6m on the Scoville scale (compare this to a Habanero that's around 600'000.
  9. Surely you don't mean mace.... mace almost definitely will blind you.

    Cricket......

Bwahaha. Yesterday, the opening comment on cricinfo was something in the lines of "So we've got good news and bad news for NZ.... the good news is that it's a batting day. The bad news is almost all their batsmen are already back in the hut".
  11. In my case the motorist drove back to me and got out of his car.
  12. If I had it on Friday I'd have used it on a motorist. Does that count? If you are looking for some, I hear the SWAT one is quite awesome.
  13. Trying: 1 2 3 4 Edit... Yeah it gets stripped when you post it, so your best bet would be as above, post a picture/screengrab.
  14. Fulcrum wheels are made by Campagnolo, so you've already got really decent wheels there. I'd rather save up some more randelas and get a better set of Fulcrums later on... you'd be better off dropping 200/300g on a wheelset than upgrading the hubs.

    Cricket......

Arguably lightyears... but this gameplay won't work with India/Sri Lanka...
  16. Yeah Garmin Connect has this too. Quite useful, thanks (didn't know Strava had it). Just upped an 80km ride from 663m to 721m climbed.... quite a difference. Garmin Connect had some where it was almost 200m difference.
  17. The fence bit along Botha is that downhill piece almost at the "end" of one of the trails, right? My bar-end got stuck in there the other day.... one good reason for me to take them off.
  18. Well his first attempt at "adding value" was a miserable failure...
  19. Yes I know the route. It's a bummer, it's actually a nice section.
  20. Two things... 1. Learn to type using Capitals for the start of sentences (waiting for a real Grammar Nazi to tell you the rest) 2. You've got a lot of nonsense written in there.
  21. My get-off-and-walk area is the rooty-rocky section where you cross the stream.... had a very nice over-the-bar there last year.
  22. You mean here? https://dl.dropbox.com/u/21762292/MooiKloofTracks.png I love riding there..... and coincidentally I've only ever seen like 5 people on those tracks.
  23. I won't be able to make it (my training schedule says Thursday morning ride), but whoever is keen to join me, will do around 60km at 5am from the Hazeldean area.
