  1. Where's the patented Needles table? http://p.vitalmtb.com/photos/users/2/photos/76499/s780_needlesA.jpg?1400783462
  2. World is too small, realised I know whom you are - pure flannel team member, blue bike, recent WTB wheel addition right?
  3. granted, not the best song ever, but catchy, well produced and a well made video to boot.
  4. Thanks guys! What were you on Jewbacca? I'm bad with names and faces, but good with remembering bikes and kit.
  5. ooooh, since I can't ride, I'm busy trading bits and upgrading bikes. Some lekker candy bought from Lyne, Rapide, hubbers etc, will share as soon as I start building.
  6. http://i.giphy.com/dzSFM3JxlseE8.gif Unfortunately not today. Couple weeks back on the way home from Helderberg. I know I know, not a majorly long manual, but going around 44km/h (topped out on the 34t) and my hands are a bit tired after Helderberg's DH.
  7. flippen OTT! was such a lekker thing to watch!
  8. Yup, building a super trail machine to sell.
  9. My desk this morning...
  10. That new Trance...WOW! Oh yes, and lekker photos, looks like fun!
  11. Lekker en well done HA! Pasop, dis amper so verslawend soos MTB...gelukkig cheaper om te onderhou.
  12. flip, I've done that once previously on a forged, non-hollowtech crankset, and also happened easier than expected, bike falling over on cement! No idea why, but that sucks big time! Maybe they'll replace it since it is new - even better if you accidentally caught the strike on gopro.
  13. All the best Barry - epic news! Would deffo need a bit more info than just "car exploded"- I take that it is not, but sounds more like a spoof than a real event at this point in time.
  14. may have to change your name to canyon'er or something...
  15. Lekker! Doesn't sound like a small pedal strike to bend a crank arm! What crankset was on there?!
  16. try this: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/166410-manitou-fork-tuning-get-your-mattoc-etc-buttery-smooth/ I'm running 145mm and that has turned my bike into a rocket. 145mm Front / 140mm rear. Deffo not a DH rig, but super capable.
  17. Also fitted the new rear tyre. WTB Breakout 2.5 front and WTB Trail Boss 2.4 rear. Front has 5 -7mm clearance left on the Mattoc, so now we know the size limits of non-boost forks. Grip is phenomenal, but more intensive and repetitive "testing" would have to be done just to be sure. Rolling resistance is pretty good. Also fork serviced, and massaged and is now even better than before. Bike feels so dialled. Amped
  18. Yes, I have both, so switching forks to whatever mood I'm in. The Mattoc got some fresh oil early this morning, so time to go on!
  19. grip seems ridiculous so far! Clearance though - but the high volume 2.5 is the limit for the Pike. Have about 3 - 5mm clearance. Will check the Mattoc, guessing I'll have more clearance on there.
  20. Lekker hub sounds!
  21. That's about the speed the guys do when they go for that Trailpark big jump line
  22. I've gone full motocross WTB 2.5 Breakout on my I29 rims look massive!
  23. 10min stop at playgrounds on my way home from the shaping bay. Offload bike, hit table 4 times, load bike, go.
