  1. Is a pretty neat solution too. Haven't seen anyone get that close to straight, round and mostly even on first go. Must be the spectacles...
  2. I don't remember what we weighed his at. The LB rims were about the same as the Pygas. Only remember Jason spending half an hour getting the spoke tension perfect . V12 first attempt at wheel build was better than most.
  3. Guess Didn't weigh them. Must be in the 1.6 - 1.7kg range with the straight gauge spokes.
  4. A rim upgrade with Titanium Nitrate coated spokes. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/Mobile%20Uploads/20151217_094150_zpshxoriba8.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/Mobile%20Uploads/20151217_094109_zpslygf4x2q.jpg
  5. Are those size 11UK?
  6. Saw a video of a section of a stage. Very rough but awesome riding. Would love to do it next time.
  7. Fork - Sid - lost pressure... no big deal. Bike is already here for us to check the fork out.
  8. Can't believe Jules wouldn't tell his buds who built it for him...
  9. That's why we call you "Crashy" I found the 2.25 FRC Ibex to have slightly less grip than Vigilante... but then I have played around with pressures a LOT more on the WTBs to find the sweetspot while I have less experience with Onza. Both phenomenal tyres but that heavy 2.4 is a DH tyre and would give anyone massive confidence.
  10. The DVO Diamond is slightly cheaper than the Pike... at least at my shop! We put a Diamond on a 120 for a custom build for a customer - carbon Pyga rims too. Reduced it to 140 and the bike handles like a dream. He is so impressed he's got the Diamond 29" on his loan Stage Max frame for Wines2whales and we have build his 3rd pyga rimmed wheelset. PS if you guys want to check pics of these two builds check our FB page
  11. Jules, we had it all built up by yesterday lunch time... So tempting put a pair of pedals on and take it for a spin
  12. We have the 26" Dartmoor rims in stock. Can't get Spikes anymore... have a couple of 26"Subrosas in green or gold. In fact all of Diald's stuff like Five Tens, 661 etc will be available at The Trailhead this week.
  13. You have to test ride both and hen decide. The 110 29 will cover ground and pedal faster. The 120 650B will be more fun in corners.
  14. Carbon frames haven't landed yet. The Stages being built are most likely the ones they flew in for the ACF. We have the black medium Max 95% built: mainly waiting for a rear axle...
  15. Web page went down this week. Failure to renew domain even though we got an email which said it would be done automatically. Should be back up as soon as they send an invoice...
  16. As long as your long ride has lots and lots of singletrack because that's where shorter stem shines. If the front feels twitchy or your position feels cramped, then your bars are too narrow.
  17. We should be building a Stage Max today . Hopefully if a couple of bits and pieces arrive on time...
  18. I'm also having a custom paint job. Will be bright but not as contrasting.
  19. You have to see it in real life to get the full impact.
  20. I like the sentence which starts with "The rear disc brake cable..." and ends with "...fast purging oil change".
  21. There already are a number of Epic riders ordering Stages...
  22. Only on external Lev.
  23. http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/product-images-large/cube-slt-zero-shpc-saddle-black-69169.jpg Have one of these on a Cube MTB in the store. My arse cramps just looking at it.
