  2. These bikes are even better in the flesh.
  3. Was it you who called me this morning?
  4. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/Mobile%20Uploads/20151224_082919_zpswzi70jea.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/Mobile%20Uploads/20151224_082933_zpshmuqtwyx.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/Mobile%20Uploads/20151224_083014_zpsx5z6k9mr.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/Mobile%20Uploads/20151224_083042_zpsakqqsmil.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/Mobile%20Uploads/20151224_083118_zpsd4gihgl9.jpg That should be enough to drool over for now.
  5. Jason collected two frames from Hilton when they did the heli drop in the Drakensburg last week. The other came via courier yesterday. I guess we are just special Will post pics of the custom Max when we are done with it today George.
  6. We're busy with our third Stage build since yesterday. But this one is an orange Max custom build with Hope, DVO etc. Gonna be sweet!
  7. Coolheat are out of stock of them again.
  8. Long, low and slack makes for an awesome descendng machine. Not so awesome on the uphills though...
  9. Thank dude! I love riding so even if I have to go a bit slower over technical stuff than before it doesn't really worry me. I find that I don't notice it as much riding at night for some reason. If you want to know what it feels like, smear Vaseline over one of your sunglasses lenses. Then go ride.
  10. Cross linking is one of the procedures I had in my right eye. Doc, you have to bear in mind that I've had severe keratoconus in both eyes. Have needed eye correction (glasses) since I was 14. Wore hard contacts from 18 till late 30's but I can't wear them anymore. Cornea transplant and lasik in the left eye has left me with close to 20/20 if lubricated. So to have most of my vision without any correction is awesome for me. I just have to get to the stage where that clever brain eye 'accommodation' adjustment happens at speed over jumps etc.
  11. I know all about that. Have had four eye operations leaving me with 95% vision in the left eye and about 70% in the right eye. Depth perception is off. I can manage most of the time except when speed picks up on the mtb. Trying to learn to jump again when you can't spot any landings is scary.
  12. Is a pretty neat solution too. Haven't seen anyone get that close to straight, round and mostly even on first go. Must be the spectacles...
  13. I don't remember what we weighed his at. The LB rims were about the same as the Pygas. Only remember Jason spending half an hour getting the spoke tension perfect . V12 first attempt at wheel build was better than most.
  14. Guess Didn't weigh them. Must be in the 1.6 - 1.7kg range with the straight gauge spokes.
  15. A rim upgrade with Titanium Nitrate coated spokes. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/Mobile%20Uploads/20151217_094150_zpshxoriba8.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/Mobile%20Uploads/20151217_094109_zpslygf4x2q.jpg
  16. Are those size 11UK?
  17. I've had that exact issue with them before years ago. They then tried to convince me that I didn't really need a 140mm travel fork. 100mm was more than adequate.
  18. Saw a video of a section of a stage. Very rough but awesome riding. Would love to do it next time.
  19. Sorry dude. Like I said I'm waiting for myself too...
  20. Fork - Sid - lost pressure... no big deal. Bike is already here for us to check the fork out.
  21. Can't believe Jules wouldn't tell his buds who built it for him...
  22. Stock of Five Tens are available at The Trailhead since last week - plus all of Dial'd Bikes other great brands like One Industries clothing, 661 helmets, Dartmoor rims, stems and pedals...
  23. That's why we call you "Crashy" I found the 2.25 FRC Ibex to have slightly less grip than Vigilante... but then I have played around with pressures a LOT more on the WTBs to find the sweetspot while I have less experience with Onza. Both phenomenal tyres but that heavy 2.4 is a DH tyre and would give anyone massive confidence.
  24. The DVO Diamond is slightly cheaper than the Pike... at least at my shop! We put a Diamond on a 120 for a custom build for a customer - carbon Pyga rims too. Reduced it to 140 and the bike handles like a dream. He is so impressed he's got the Diamond 29" on his loan Stage Max frame for Wines2whales and we have build his 3rd pyga rimmed wheelset. PS if you guys want to check pics of these two builds check our FB page
