  1. Yes sir. XD driver needed for the SRAM GX Eagle Cassette. Only the NX Cassette uses the old Shimano HG standard. Do you know if the cassette you have is GX?
  2. New set and sell your old hubs to recoup some money.
  3. My AMPv2 gets hammered hard over rocks, ruts, jumps etc under my 105kg. 6 months down the line and not a single issue. Also the swarm of angry bees from that high engagement hub is yummy. I forgot to add the Rapide wheels. Wayne has great products with the excellent service.
  4. Lyne Components Pulse 30 wheel set or just the rims. Superb value for money and bomb proof.
  5. That is an adjustable seat post. "Dual Position"
  6. Do you know what compound the pads are?
  7. Back problem would require a suspension seat post or dual suspension frame. Thudbuster is available in SA but quite expensive. Maybe a bike fit won't be the worst idea.
  8. Norwood area but I can take a drive out to Broadacres side.
  9. Sadly not. My dropper is in for repairs and I have skills course to attend on Sunday. My post was supposed to be back today and now I'm a little bit in the lurch.
  10. Bought it secondhand from a guy in Richards Bay a while back.
  11. Anyone with a 30.9 post please please please? Even if I could just borrow one for the weekend.
  12. Show me what hides inside those pants (pockets) or in your gorgeous chest of drawers. Time to brag about your daily carry or that collection of tools you have scraped together over the years. No tool is too small. We won’t judge.
  13. Mine wasn’t bent. It’s just a cool tool to own.
  14. Money is no object for me. My bank account reads like my phone number. *also starts with a zero and "no object" because it doesn't exist I bought a hanger alignment tool from Park. That should say everything.
  15. Wayne! Thank you. I don't have words other than that.
  16. My daily carry is a Skeletool CX. It used to be black about 10 years ago. It gets used a lot. I have a Micra on my car key. You never know when you will need tweezers or scissors As for my tool collection. I can buy a very nice second bike for what hides in my cabinet.
  17. I'm not spending R670 on a pair of snips that I only use to cut zip ties. My chinesium snips have been with my for 5 years now and not a single issue. My hardworking tools however is a different story.
  18. Interesting one. So acting as an agent for a commission I assume.
  19. What does the seller have to say for himself? If not name and shame. Report the seller to the site admins as well. We don't need trash like that ripping off buyers.
  20. My understanding: A ‘transaction’ in terms of the CPA refers to agreements concluded in the ordinary course of business by a supplier and a consumer. And: A private sale of property is not a transaction which falls within the ambit of the CPA, So if the seller claims it was his own personal bike and not sold through his business then things get muddy.
  21. Is this by chance a Pina F8 that you bought?
  22. Agree. Post the link to the original advert.
