When I started riding I really thought this would affect me. Always had the rear on the right with my bikes. Wasn't a problem at all. Muscle memory I guess.
Depends on the rider and which model I guess. I've done 500km trips with mine and I've done the 100km just for a quick ride kind of trips. I'd have one issue with a 100km commute and that is filling up every day. Not the most fuel efficient. I normally see around 14 to 16km/l for daily riding. 20 to 21 on long hauls.
The 883 has one problem. You'll get bored quickly and want to upgrade to the 1200. Almost two years now on the 1200 and it's a lot of fun still. Rode the 883 and it was seriously muted in power delivery.
Bean a while since I posted here. Setup at home has changed to a Rancillio Silvia Single Group with a Rancillio Rocky grinder. Super happy with the setup. Still have the Breville Barista Express machine that gets used as a backup when we have people over. It just keeps grinding on after almost 4 years. Added a Chemex to compliment the Aeropress for travelling with good coffee. Paired with a Krupps grinder.
No issues there. I've burned my leg on the top of the rear cylinder before. What happens when you quickly hop onto a warm bike in shorts to pull it around the house.
