DR, it was good to see you again! Thanks for accompanying my partner to Komdomo. Yeah, the wheels came off for me at Bergplaas. I believed I could get through this on experience, but apparently training is required too. I don't regret giving it a bash but do regret letting my partner down, especially since he prepared so much for it and was very strong going into the event. But, I'll be back next year to make my 2nd attempt at #4.... just a little delay in the 5 year trophy process

The biggest watercrossing last year happened after Bergplaas. It was the one just off the tar road when we left Komdomo

Yep, muscle memory and a bit of determination. After a certain distance, it's all in the head anyway

With years of experience like you have, you don't need to train. Just get on your bike and pedal, when you reach J-Bay stop, simple really.
